I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) since 2014. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, grief, and major life transitions. After years of providing in-person therapy, I transitioned to fully virtual care in 2020. This shift allowed me to offer more accessible, flexible, and private telehealth services to adults across Florida and Vermont, meeting clients where they are—literally and emotionally. My clinical work is deeply informed by both training and lived experience. In my own life, I’ve navigated grief, significant life transitions, and having had cancer twice. While these experiences are not the focus of my work, they have shaped the way I show up as a therapist: grounded, present, and deeply respectful of the complexity of what people carry. I understand that healing is not linear, and that strength often looks like simply getting through the day. I work with adults who are experiencing emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and health-related challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is collaborative, practical, and paced to your readiness. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, trauma-informed care, and person-centered therapy. Together, we focus on building insight while also developing real-world coping tools that support meaningful change. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or push through alone. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or sensing that something needs to shift, this can be a steady place to begin rebuilding clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.

Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing, despite feeling worried or unsure, perhaps even hopeful, despite misgivings. Choosing to change is difficult, and you are doing it!! With 26 years of practice, I bring professional expertise, personal understanding, sincerity, warmth and caring to your healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life solo or in a relationship, unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. I help individuals and couples uncover those early wounds and start healing—through psychotherapy grounded in neuroscience and mindfulness. Because healing isn’t just talk; it’s nervous system deep. The body keeps the score, but you get to rewrite the story. Let’s create the life you were always meant to live. Not all therapies or therapists are created equal, as you know if you are still struggling with the same issues. Time for a change. If you want to feel better about yourself, confident, excited about life, build healthier relationships, and become your best self, welcome to creating your best life. Together, we'll integrate Mind/Body/Spirit approaches with classical therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs.

Hello! I’m Dr. Thuydy (pronounced "Tweety"), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, compulsive sexual behaviors, trauma, and relationship concerns. My doctoral research focused on trauma-informed treatment for compulsive sexual behaviors, which I bring into my clinical work with compassion, respect, and a nonjudgmental approach. I understand how difficult it can feel to navigate disconnection, conflict, or shame, especially when intimacy, sexuality, or past trauma are involved. My approach is trauma-informed, sex-positive, shame-resilient, and inclusive. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients from all backgrounds feel respected and supported, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, engage in kink or BDSM, or practice consensual non-monogamy or polyamory. Together, we'll explore your unique experiences, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical tools for resilience, communication, and self-compassion. Hi, I'm Jada, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've worked in inpatient psychiatry, done crisis intervention, and spent years in outpatient therapy, so I've sat with people through everything from everyday stress to full-blown crises, including LGBTQ individuals navigating identity, acceptance, and the unique challenges that can come with it. If there's one thing that's taught me, it's that healing looks different for everyone. There's no single formula that works for all of us, and I recognize that minorities and marginalized folks often carry experiences and stressors that deserve to be seen and understood, not overlooked.
