~I am currently accepting new clients~ My philosophy is that life is a journey and we can be thrown unexpected difficulties and challenges during the ride. Many times we just need a little help during tough times to successfully move forward. I work with individuals, couples, and children. I provide an empathetic non-judgmental environment for clients to feel safe and comfortable while working towards their goals. I have worked with clients on many different complicated issues and relational difficulties. My areas of specialty include, anxiety and depression, couples and communicational problems, infidelity, self-esteem issues, compulsive overeating, adolescent behavioral problems, and LGBTQ challenges. I am very passionate about my career and genuinely enjoy helping clients uncover their strengths and resources to reach their goals to live happier and healthier lives. I work with clients of all different ethnic and economic backgrounds.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable and sometimes a little intimidating. My goal in our first session is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor therapy to you, your history, your relationships, your goals. I pay close attention to patterns, underlying beliefs, and relational dynamics, helping you see connections you may not have recognized before. I’ve learned that meaningful change doesn’t happen through advice, it happens in the context of a safe, collaborative relationship where you feel steady enough to examine what’s underneath the surface and ready to live out your most authentic life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a future-oriented, short-term, goal-directed approach that helps clients build solutions rather than dwelling on problems, typically in 5-8 sessions. It is a strength-based approach, that empowers individuals to identify their existing resources and apply them to create a preferred future, making it effective for addressing anxiety, depression, and family issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured, goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and replace negative or irrational thought patterns with healthier, more realistic ones to improve emotional regulation and behavior. CBT works has been known to be helpful with clients suffering from depression and anxiety.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is an evidence-based therapeutic intervention that teaches patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. It combines education with support to reduce stigma, improve treatment adherence, and foster self-management.
