Hi, I'm Lucas, and I'm really glad you're here. I have 8 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including directing an Intensive Outpatient Program. In 2023, I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, addiction, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate and engaged; I bring real energy to every session, yes, even through a screen, and I practice what I teach because mental health is something we all work at. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, biofeedback tools, behavior-change strategies, and research-backed habits that make a real difference in daily life. I work hard to break through the virtual barrier so it feels like we're genuinely in the same space, working together as a team. Expect me to be direct, and don't be surprised if I send you home with "homework." Growth happens in the everyday moments, not just the hour we spend together. My job is simple: help you reconnect with your strengths, build real confidence, and move toward the life you actually want. You're worth that work.

I’m Crystal Scott, a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, honest, practical, and deeply human. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or the feeling of being stuck in patterns they no longer want to repeat. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I combine evidence-based techniques with genuine conversation, reflection, encouragement, humor when appropriate, and practical tools that can be used in everyday life. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest about what is really going on. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to recognize patterns, strengthen boundaries, build confidence, improve communication, and make choices that better reflect the life you want to create. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own, being the strong one, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own. You do not have to arrive with the perfect words or a clear plan. We can slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and identify realistic steps forward together. My ideal client is someone who is ready for support, insight, and meaningful change, even if they are unsure where to begin. Whether you are healing from a painful experience, adjusting to a major change, rebuilding trust, managing difficult emotions, or learning to reconnect with yourself, I will meet you with empathy, patience, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

Every relationship leaves an imprint. The quality of our relationships shapes nearly every part of our lives, including the relationship we have with ourselves. Whether you're recovering from a breakup, struggling with family dynamics, navigating friendship challenges, or feeling stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, therapy can help you heal and rebuild trust in yourself and others. My practice focuses on helping adults understand their attachment style, heal relational wounds, strengthen emotional connections, and create relationships that feel secure, authentic, and supportive. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be holding you back and create lasting change that supports healthier, more fulfilling connections in all areas of life. Many of the clients I work with find themselves repeating the same painful cycles, overthinking relationships, struggling with boundaries, fearing rejection, or feeling disconnected despite wanting deeper connection. Through a compassionate, attachment focused approach, we'll work to understand where these patterns began, how they continue to show up in your life, and what it takes to create meaningful change. I believe healing happens when we gain insight into our experiences while also learning new ways to relate to ourselves and others. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can process difficult emotions, build self trust, increase emotional resilience, and develop the confidence needed to create stronger, healthier relationships.

Hello, my name is Justine Nyman. I want to thank you for taking the time to seek support. It is not easy to reach out or even realize that counseling/support is needed. So, I welcome you to therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have 10 years' experience and continue to grow in my therapeutic approaches and my knowledge as a therapist. I create an environment where the client feels comfortable and open to emotional vulnerability. In order to express ourselves and be open with our struggles we need to feel comfortable in the therapeutic process. I use acceptance with my clients and don't judge them based on their history or their current choices. I want the client to feel that they can start their journey, set goals, use coping skills, and improve their overall well-being. Counseling is a process and takes time. Some individuals require more time than others and that is okay. I believe in moving with the pace of the client, through setting goals and practicing tools is essential for change. In order to feel change, we need to make changes in our everyday lives. If we don't initiate changes, it becomes a struggle to move forward. "Practice makes permanent" I look forward to working with you on your journey of growth, mastery, and success.

Maybe you're the person everyone depends on—the capable one who keeps going. Underneath, you may be grieving, overwhelmed, questioning relationships, replaying the past, or simply exhausted from carrying so much. I'm Angela, and I work with adults navigating grief, trauma, intense emotions, attachment and relationship patterns, women's issues, and life transitions. My style is warm, human, and active. Using EMDR, ART, CBT, DBT, and attachment-informed approaches, we won't just talk about what happened—we'll understand why it still affects you and build practical ways forward. You don't have to pretend you're okay here. I work with people who look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed underneath—navigating grief, trauma, intense emotions, relationship patterns, or major life changes. Together, we'll uncover what's keeping you stuck, understand where it began, and build healthier responses so your past no longer has to keep making your decisions for you. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you're grieving, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply tired of carrying so much alone, you deserve a space where you can be real. Thank you for taking the first step of courage and making yourself a priority today. Opening yourself up and being vulnerable can be a tremendous step to your healing process. As Brene Brown says, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing, it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” You are showing up for yourself today! Although the first steps can be overwhelming, I can walk with you and help guide you on the journey of healing and peace. I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal. Remember that you are worthy and deserving of being free of the emotional pain you are experiencing. Be kind to yourself. **If you are viewing my profile for your child (3-17 years of age), I provide a calming and accepting space to assist with regulating your child's emotions. If your child is experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD or difficulty focusing due to inattention or hyperactivity, or your child is lacking motivation and seems more irritable and angrier than usual, I can teach your child coping skills and strategies. I help women who are outwardly successful and inwardly carrying stress, anxiety, perfectionism, or old patterns that keep them from feeling fully at ease. Using an integrative blend of EMDR, IFS, CBT, and DBT, I help clients quiet the inner critic, heal the patterns underneath the performance, and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside. I hold dual addiction credentials (MCAP, ICADC) and work in English and Spanish. I see clients in-person in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach, and virtually throughout Florida.

Hi, I’m Tara. I’m a professional counselor with 19 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. I became a therapist because I’ve always had a heart for helping people feel seen, heard, understood, and supported—especially during seasons when life feels overwhelming, relationships feel difficult, or you simply aren’t sure what comes next. My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a safe place where you can show up as you are without fear of judgment. You don’t need to have the perfect words or know exactly where to begin. We’ll start where you are and figure out the next steps together. I work with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship and family difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, parenting challenges, and communication struggles. I use an individualized approach that may incorporate CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and client-centered therapy. I am also a Registered Play Therapist, and working with children and families is an important part of my practice. I use play and developmentally appropriate approaches to help children express emotions, develop coping skills, and work through experiences in ways that feel natural to them. One phrase that guides much of my work is “Awareness creates choice.” When we begin to understand ourselves, our patterns, and our experiences differently, we create opportunities to make different choices. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only feeling better, but also understanding yourself better and feeling more confident navigating whatever comes next.

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
