I believe people do well if they can. Together, we will identify your strengths and build the skills and internal & external resources necessary to help you overcome your struggles and navigate the complexities of life. Through a variety of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, IFS, ACT, CBT, and DBT, we will tailor a treatment plan to meet your specific needs & goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and explore what approaches we can use together. I'll answer your initial questions, and we'll start planning your healing journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Using a comprehensive, individualized approach, I will tailor my therapeutic methods to meet your needs and utilize and adapt techniques (EMDR, CBT, DBT) based on what will be most effective for you.

My treatment methods

EMDR

As a trained EMDR clinician, I will guide and support you in identifying the root cause of your distress (i.e., anxiety, depression, unsuccessful relationships, etc.) to reprocess traumatic or distressing memories and/ or events so that your emotional response diminishes and you feel significant relief, gaining healthy coping skills and improving the overall quality of your mental and physical health.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

As a trained DBT clinician, I will guide you in developing essential skills in four domains (emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness) to help you manage your emotions and stress in healthy ways.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a trained clinician, I will utilize a variety of CBT methods and skills to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so we can identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors to improve your overall emotional well-being.
