When life feels intimidating, or you're struggling with depression, anxiety, or fear, it's easy to feel stuck. I am here to serve as your guide, helping you commit to yourself and pave a clear path through difficult or unprecedented circumstances. The goal is simple: to help you live a fulfilling and authentic life. I offer focused support utilizing powerful, evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Remember that you are in the driver's seat. Asking for help takes courage, and embracing that vulnerability is where true change begins. I am here to facilitate that process with unwavering support. Let's work together, embrace the change, and define your next steps.
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, self esteem or stress. During our initial sessions, we will start by building rapport and a therapeutic alliance. Once rapport has been built, we will then dive into pressing issues at hand and, together, commit and create a plan for addressing them in a way that supports you managing and building a life worth living.
I'm deeply dedicated to the people I work with. My commitment is to partner with you, starting right where you are, to help you create the life you envision. You can count on my unwavering support, and I will also gently encourage you to examine different viewpoints as we navigate the path to meaningful change together.
My clinical focus is on helping teens and adults manage challenges like depression, anxiety, and anger. My most successful clients are highly motivated individuals who are willing to commit to the work of therapy and move beyond their current struggles to build a better future.
I utilize CBT in order to assist with identifying problematic or unhelpful thinking patterns and work towards challenging thoughts and replacing unhelpful thoughts through cognitive restructuring and teaching skills to improve emotional well-being.
I have been using DBT in my therapeutic practices in order to help clients with learning concrete skills focusing on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation and distress tolerance. DBT has been shown in my practice to provide client with a comprehensive set of skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with life's challenges in a healthier way.
REBT operates on the fundamental idea that it's not simply events that cause our emotional and behavioral reactions, but our beliefs about those events. This treatment method has shown to be effective with clients in my years of practice by using the ABC model and then working towards disputing irrational beliefs.
