I entered the field of social work 10+ years ago to advocate for and assist others in finding their voice. I quickly learned I was able to use my skills to help clients overcome obstacles and navigate broken systems. Over the course of my career, the need to address mental health disparities became apparent, as did the lack of available providers to do so. I became a licensed therapist to help clients live a life free of shame, one that is authentic without needing anyone else’s approval.
In our collaborative work, I provide a safe and nurturing space for exploration and healing. Together, we address deep-seated emotional wounds, enhance self-esteem, and develop personalized self-care strategies. My approach integrates trauma-informed care principles, focusing on safety, trust, and empowerment to support lasting transformation. Progress is based on improvements you see in and out of sessions. Homework is assigned as needed to help learn or practice new skills. When clients are committed to the process, therapy is equally as challenging as it is rewarding.
