Hi there! My name is Rose, and I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping people feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion and a respect for your unique story. I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, gain clarity, and develop tools that work for your life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you navigate those challenges. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. My approach draws from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Diialectical Behaviorial Therapy (DBT) and utilize mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care; while always tailoring our work to what feels most helpful for you. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who want to build stronger self-worth, improve their relationships, and create a life that feels more meaningful and balanced. I’m happy that you’re considering working with me. If you’re ready to start your journey, I’d like to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be all about getting to know each other and creating a foundation for our work together. Many people feel nervous or unsure when they start therapy, and that’s completely natural. I know what it's like to sit on the other side of the desk so here is what you can expect. We’ll start with the basics. I’ll explain how therapy works with me, review confidentiality, and answer any questions you have about the process. I’ll get to know you, and you'll get to know me. You’ll have the space to share what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, your background, and your dreams. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We’ll explore your goals and together we will begin identifying what you want to work on and how I can best support you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Providing compassionate, empathetic practice without judgment is my priority. My life experiences allow for a deep understanding of the difficulties we can encounter and the tools necessary to get through them. Working to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and the treatment of substance use disorders will improve your overall quality of life . We can work towards helping to improve communication skills that affect interpersonal as well as romantic relationships. Using a combination of clinical skill, life experience, genuine care, and a commitment to meeting you exactly where you are, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly without fear of being rushed or dismissed;. A space where ou can truly be heard and have your thoughts and feelings validated, maybe for the first time. For me it is not about helping people just feel better in the moment, but building lasting resilience, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of self-worth. Enabling your capacity for growth and healing; even when it feels out of reach; and a commitment to being there when it's hard and to celebrate your achievements is perhaps my greatest strength as a therapist.
