Hello, my name is Sunshine Wilder and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. In 2004, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work and have been working for the past 19 years with children, teens, and adults in various settings such as child welfare, specialized therapeutic foster care, and outpatient therapy. I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of needs such as stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attachment issues, and Bipolar Disorder.

I am a Seminary trained Licensed Clinical Therapist and a Military Combat Veteran with experience serving in ministry overseas for over 12 years. I have collaborated and successfully worked with clients from many different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicity, sexual orientations, and religious faiths that struggle with different mental disorders, health conditions and stressors including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I specialize in treating adults but will consider seeing adolescents over age 15.

I work with women to shift limiting beliefs regarding self, income, relationships, healing the past. am passionate about working with women to increase self-esteem, change the negative voices, heal limiting beliefs and instill new beliefs. I have a background working in healing modalities, as well as coaching. I often use IFS (working with parts). We may do inner child work, NLP, connect with different 'parts' of you, coaching, and heal past beliefs and emotions relating to trauma and other experiences. I help you listen to body wisdom and see where you need to make changes. We will work on changing limiting beliefs and creating confidence so you can create the life you want.

I work both in person and through Telehealth. I work primarily with trauma survivors, college students under stress, and people in recovery from addictions. I assist Individuals, Couples, Families, Groups, and even Communities when needed, offering both short term and long term counseling. I am licensed to diagnose and treat many issues, such as Mental Health issues, including Substance Abuse. I have advanced training in PTSD, Critical Incident Stress Management, and work with all types of traumas, including abuse, grief, as well as assisting Communities during manmade/ natural disasters, or acts of violence that require interventions on a larger scale. For the past 20 years, I have specialized in assisting have served First Responders, Firefighters, EMS, and Law Enforcement Officers, who were involved with 9/11. I am very dedicated to assisting Medical Staff, and other local heros who selflessly look after our safety and well being. Before entering Private Practice, for many years, I worked in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Agencies, Psychiatric Centers, Nursing Homes, and Homeless Shelters. I have extensive experience working with people who have Disabilities, and Chronic Medical Issues. I became proficient at American Sign Language , I help clients learn their rights under the American with Disability Act to learn how to request accessible goods and services.
