I offer compassionate, culturally responsive mental health services rooted in the belief that healing is possible—and you don’t have to carry it alone. I create a safe, affirming space where individuals can gently unpack trauma, depression, anxiety, and life’s emotional burdens while reconnecting with their true selves. What makes me unique is my focus on empowerment, meaning, and identity. Therapy here goes beyond symptom management—it’s about helping you heal at your own pace, reclaim your voice, strengthen emotional connection, and rediscover purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where the focus is on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to therapy. I’ll spend time exploring their current concerns, relevant history, and what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process, while also beginning to identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Clients can expect a collaborative and paced conversation, with no pressure to share more than they’re ready for. I’ll also begin to notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and may gently introduce initial insights or coping strategies depending on what feels appropriate. The session is centered on building trust, clarifying direction, and helping clients leave with a sense of being heard, supported, and grounded in the next steps of their healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to integrate multiple evidence-based modalities—CBT, Person-centered therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-focused work—in a way that feels both structured and deeply human. I balance insight and emotional processing with practical, goal-oriented strategies, allowing clients to not only understand themselves more deeply but also take tangible steps toward change. My work is marked by a strong emphasis on emotional safety, self-awareness, and empowerment. Clients are met with warmth and non-judgment while also being gently challenged to examine unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthier internal narratives. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, my approach is highly individualized, meeting clients where they are and adjusting to their readiness for insight, skill-building, or deeper emotional work. As a result, clients often experience increased self-trust, reduced self-criticism, improved emotional regulation, and clearer direction in their relationships and personal goals. The overall outcome is not just symptom relief, but meaningful and sustainable shifts in how clients relate to themselves and others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve clients who feel overwhelmed by self-doubt, anxiety, or persistent self-criticism and are ready to better understand and shift the patterns keeping them stuck. This may include individuals who struggle with people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, or a strong inner critic that impacts their self-worth and decision-making. Many of my clients are seeking clarity, emotional stability, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, even if they’re not yet sure how to get there. I work especially well with clients who are motivated for growth but may feel unsure, frustrated, or “stuck in their heads.” They often benefit from a blend of insight, emotional processing, and practical tools to create change. My approach supports clients who want a safe, supportive space to explore deeper emotions while also building concrete skills, improving relationships, and moving toward greater self-trust, confidence, and emotional balance.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In sessions, I support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, challenging self-critical beliefs, and developing healthier coping strategies that align with their goals and values. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences, helping them build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence both inside and outside of therapy.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, empathy, and acceptance, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. In sessions, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while empowering clients to reconnect with themselves, strengthen self-trust, and move toward meaningful growth and change.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients identify, understand, and work through the deeper emotions that drive their patterns in relationships and daily life. In sessions, I support clients in exploring attachment needs, increasing emotional awareness, and creating more secure and connected ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is compassionate and experiential, helping clients access vulnerable emotions in a safe space so they can foster healing, strengthen relationships, and develop more secure emotional bonds.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and focus on what’s already working in their lives. In sessions, I guide clients toward practical, realistic steps they can take to create meaningful change, while highlighting resilience and past successes. My approach is future-oriented, collaborative, and empowering, helping clients build momentum, gain clarity, and move toward the life they want in a way that feels manageable and achievable.
