In the first session, clients can expect to engage in a warm and welcoming conversation where we’ll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll invite clients to share their concerns, goals, and any relevant background information, providing a space where they feel heard and understood. We’ll discuss their reasons for seeking therapy and explore their expectations for our work together. Additionally, I’ll explain the therapeutic process, including how our sessions will be structured and what they can anticipate as we move forward. We’ll collaboratively set initial goals and discuss any immediate needs or challenges. The aim of this session is to establish a strong foundation of trust and to ensure that clients feel comfortable and supported as we begin our journey towards their personal growth and well-being.
