I believe that to truly understand ourselves in the present, we need to explore the experiences that shaped us and how they continue to influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In therapy, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can express yourself openly, process what you’ve been through, and begin to see yourself with greater clarity and compassion. I became a therapist because I know firsthand that treatment works. I also know what it feels like to carry crippling anxiety, to feel weighed down by trauma we don’t fully understand, to blame ourselves for feeling depressed, and to wonder if we’ll ever find a way forward. Those struggles have shaped me, and they’ve given me a deep passion for helping others find hope, healing, and strength in their own stories. The clients who thrive in my care are those who are ready to grow—willing to unravel the complexities of their past, strengthen their voice, and step into a deeper sense of pride in who they are becoming. If you’re feeling stuck but still holding on to even a spark of hope, therapy can help you nurture it into something brighter. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Hi! I’m Dakota. Do you feel as though your life is a struggle and you don’t understand why or how to help yourself? Has your child changed into someone you don’t recognize? Are you scared about your future or for your child’s future? I excel at working with people who have become stuck, lost, or hurt. I focus on empowering you or your child with skills and increasing insight so that my clients can move on and heal. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents with any problem but specialize working through anxiety, trauma, and/or abandonment issues. I am uniquely suited to offer therapy to individuals with high IQ’s who may have difficulties connecting with the emotional side of therapy. I love working with the geek population and offer therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons™ services. I am also a trained rehabilitation therapist, so if you’re struggling with what you do with your life/career or have a highschooler wondering what trade or college path is a good fit, I can do career counseling. Thank you for doing the brave thing seeking therapy. I look forward to helping you grow!

Hi, I’m Lauryn-Maggie! I’m a solution-oriented therapist who believes healing can be challenging without always having to feel heavy. So much of therapy involves unlearning patterns we didn’t necessarily create ourselves; from generational cycles to attachment and relationship patterns (just to name a few). I’ll make space for the hard stuff while also helping you understand the “why,” find practical ways forward, and hopefully laugh a little along the way. I am not just talking about change, we’re working toward it together.

My passion in the mental health field is to encourage children and teens to become life-long advocates for their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It is my hope that together, we will find useful strategies that can be built upon and continue to grow during both the ups and downs of adolescence and beyond. My clients often present with moderate to severe worries and anxiety around “typical” angst related to school, activities, and relationships. Sometimes the stress is sneaky and camouflaged to look like fatigue, irritability, and apathy. I find that many young people use coping skills that may not be the healthiest; however making the initial decision to seek out better solutions through counseling provides countless options for therapeutic approaches. In 2025, I proudly founded my own practice, Grand Wellness Group, in an effort to continue to provide the best support for clients, families, and supervision for clinical mental health providers.

Hi, I'm Lucas, and I'm really glad you're here. I have 8 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including directing an Intensive Outpatient Program. In 2023, I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, addiction, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate and engaged; I bring real energy to every session, yes, even through a screen, and I practice what I teach because mental health is something we all work at. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, biofeedback tools, behavior-change strategies, and research-backed habits that make a real difference in daily life. I work hard to break through the virtual barrier so it feels like we're genuinely in the same space, working together as a team. Expect me to be direct, and don't be surprised if I send you home with "homework." Growth happens in the everyday moments, not just the hour we spend together. My job is simple: help you reconnect with your strengths, build real confidence, and move toward the life you actually want. You're worth that work.

Hi, I'm Nic, founder of Revision Therapy. Many people come to therapy because they want to know themselves better, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, or become more intentional about how they live. I work with anxious overachievers, LGBTQ+ folks, and anyone mid transition wondering how they got here. Maybe it's the anxiety that never fully turns off, the one that's been running in the background so long you forgot it wasn't supposed to be there. Maybe you're looking for someone who won't need to explain your identity to. Maybe you're in the middle of a transition, a breakup, a move, a new job, a version of your life you didn't sign up for, and you feel weirdly behind for something nobody actually prepares you for. Wherever you're starting from, you don't need to have it figured out before you walk in. Together, we'll explore the beliefs, patterns, and experiences that have shaped you, then focus on building practical strategies that create real change in your daily life. Therapy isn't about endless processing, but about understanding yourself while building the life you want to live. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable enough to be honest about what's working and what isn't.

I’m Crystal Scott, a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, honest, practical, and deeply human. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or the feeling of being stuck in patterns they no longer want to repeat. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I combine evidence-based techniques with genuine conversation, reflection, encouragement, humor when appropriate, and practical tools that can be used in everyday life. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest about what is really going on. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to recognize patterns, strengthen boundaries, build confidence, improve communication, and make choices that better reflect the life you want to create. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own, being the strong one, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own. You do not have to arrive with the perfect words or a clear plan. We can slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and identify realistic steps forward together. My ideal client is someone who is ready for support, insight, and meaningful change, even if they are unsure where to begin. Whether you are healing from a painful experience, adjusting to a major change, rebuilding trust, managing difficult emotions, or learning to reconnect with yourself, I will meet you with empathy, patience, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

Early on I experienced an unwavering passion to help others. This deep-seated desire led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. My aspirations didn't stop there. Upon venturing into the social service field I gained a strong interest in working with deviant youth, giving me the motivation to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, along with a Master's in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice. After attaining four college degrees, I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. For over 8 years, I have dedicated myself to serving the community and gaining invaluable experience along the way. "You are your best thing"-Toni Morrison. Growing through this journey we call life will unfortunately bring things you can't control & it's not always easy to cope & it's not always easy to talk to someone. Going to therapy doesn't "fix" you. It enhances you, it helps you to better understand why you struggle with certain patterns & behaviors & why you feel stuck at times. So, pat yourself on the back for choosing yourself, right now in this moment & for making the right decision to strive beyond where you are. Know you don't have to walk this journey alone. I'm a diverse & creative therapist who is passionate about helping people rise above unfortunate obstacles to help them reach a potential they didn't know they had within them. Yes, you have the potential to be a better version of yourself. It has always been there. It's the inner strength you haven't tapped into yet. Some of my specialties are helping individuals who struggle with: low-self esteem, relationship issues, PTSD, over-thinking, boundary setting, codependency, low-confidence, self-worth & perfectionism, high achiever's. Every relationship leaves an imprint. The quality of our relationships shapes nearly every part of our lives, including the relationship we have with ourselves. Whether you're recovering from a breakup, struggling with family dynamics, navigating friendship challenges, or feeling stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, therapy can help you heal and rebuild trust in yourself and others. My practice focuses on helping adults understand their attachment style, heal relational wounds, strengthen emotional connections, and create relationships that feel secure, authentic, and supportive. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be holding you back and create lasting change that supports healthier, more fulfilling connections in all areas of life. Many of the clients I work with find themselves repeating the same painful cycles, overthinking relationships, struggling with boundaries, fearing rejection, or feeling disconnected despite wanting deeper connection. Through a compassionate, attachment focused approach, we'll work to understand where these patterns began, how they continue to show up in your life, and what it takes to create meaningful change. I believe healing happens when we gain insight into our experiences while also learning new ways to relate to ourselves and others. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can process difficult emotions, build self trust, increase emotional resilience, and develop the confidence needed to create stronger, healthier relationships.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

Hello! I’m so glad you took the first step to make meaningful change in your life. I’d love the opportunity to partner with you and learn about your strengths, struggles, and how we move forward together. I believe we all have the answers to the big questions in our lives, but sometimes we get stuck or need a non-judgmental perspective to help us. As someone who grew up in a military family and is now a military spouse, I understand the unique lifestyle and challenges that military spouses face. As someone who has experienced grief and the loss of a loved one to cancer and a baby to miscarriage, I can empathize with loss and the waves of despair that grief can bring. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and aim to meet you wherever you are, drawing on your experiences and providing you with tools to help guide you toward your goals.

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

Hello, my name is Justine Nyman. I want to thank you for taking the time to seek support. It is not easy to reach out or even realize that counseling/support is needed. So, I welcome you to therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have 10 years' experience and continue to grow in my therapeutic approaches and my knowledge as a therapist. I create an environment where the client feels comfortable and open to emotional vulnerability. In order to express ourselves and be open with our struggles we need to feel comfortable in the therapeutic process. I use acceptance with my clients and don't judge them based on their history or their current choices. I want the client to feel that they can start their journey, set goals, use coping skills, and improve their overall well-being. Counseling is a process and takes time. Some individuals require more time than others and that is okay. I believe in moving with the pace of the client, through setting goals and practicing tools is essential for change. In order to feel change, we need to make changes in our everyday lives. If we don't initiate changes, it becomes a struggle to move forward. "Practice makes permanent" I look forward to working with you on your journey of growth, mastery, and success.

Greetings! I'm Aeron (she/her) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Master's Certified Addictions Professional, and EMDR Institute Trained Therapist located in FL with 7 years of experience. I am so happy you are here and starting your therapy journey! I specialize in trauma, LGBTQIA++ issues, women's issues, self-esteem, body image/repairing an unhealthy relationship with food, anxiety, and depression. I show up to sessions as my authentic self! This means that I am not a "blank slate" style therapist, and believe it is incredibly vital to healing to discuss all factors contributing to distress, including (but not limited to!) the impact of racial and cultural factors, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, generational and religious trauma, colonization, current political climate, and late-stage capitalism on mental health. No topic is off limits, and I can promise a safe space to explore all facets of your experience.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, ADHD, is filtering therapists in Florida that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
