With 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I have helped adults from diverse backgrounds who experience depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, relational and attachment difficulties, and everyday stressors, including those managing career demands, family responsibilities, and complex life transitions. I utilize an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. I am also trained in EMDR and other trauma-focused modalities, supporting adults in healing from past experiences, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening their sense of safety and connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know you—your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. It’s also a chance for you to get to know me and learn how I work as a therapist. Building a comfortable and trusting relationship is important, so I welcome any questions you may have. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and we work toward healing that feels authentic and empowering—so you can live the life you choose.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the greatest strengths I bring to therapy is the ability to walk alongside others with authenticity, compassion, and hope. My own healing journey has taught me the power of feeling seen, supported, and understood, and it is a privilege to offer that same experience to my clients. I believe that healing happens within meaningful connections and that every person has strengths, wisdom, and resilience that can be rediscovered along the way. My goal is to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself, explore challenges, and recognize the strengths you already possess. Together, we can build on those strengths, navigate obstacles, and work toward the growth and change you desire.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to invest in themselves and engage in the meaningful work of growth and healing. Therapy is not about being "fixed"—it’s about discovering your strengths, building self-awareness, and creating lasting change. Whether you're just beginning your journey or have been in therapy before, I value the courage it takes to keep showing up for yourself. I am particularly drawn to working with those who have experienced trauma, as I deeply respect the resilience it takes to survive difficult experiences. I also welcome clients who may feel stuck or discouraged, especially if they have spent years in therapy and wonder why lasting change still feels out of reach. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you from moving forward, uncover strengths that may have been overlooked, and create a path toward healing that feels both meaningful and attainable.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

The way we connected with caregivers growing up can have a big impact on how we experience relationships as adults. The messages we learned about trust, safety, love, and connection in childhood often shape how we communicate, handle conflict, and relate to others later in life. Understanding your attachment style can provide valuable insight into relationship patterns and help you build healthier, more fulfilling connections. The good news is that these patterns are not permanent—through awareness, healing, and intentional growth, positive change is always possible.

Trauma Informed Care

Many of us have gone through life hearing—or even asking ourselves—the question, "What's wrong with me?" Over time, that question can leave us feeling ashamed, broken, or like we're somehow not enough. Trauma-informed care takes a different approach. Instead of asking, "What's wrong with you?" it asks, "What happened to you?" This simple shift helps us understand that many of our struggles are connected to experiences we've lived through, not because there is something wrong with us. Healing begins when we feel safe, understood, and supported. Rather than reliving painful experiences over and over, trauma-informed therapy focuses on creating a sense of safety, building on your strengths, and working together to help you heal, grow, and move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.
