Clients can expect a warm welcome w/rapport building. You'll be greeted & given space to share what brought you to therapy. As your therapist I'll work to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable speaking openly.
I'm an active listener, I create a safe space for clients to be open & feel secure. I'm empathetic, warm, genuine & have strong communication skills.
I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating challenges related to self-confidence, self-esteem, learning their true identity, life stressors etc. Many of my clients are professionals seeking better work-life balance, as well as those looking to prioritize self-care and reconnect with themselves. I support clients in building confidence, resilience, managing stress, and creating healthier, more fulfilling routines and relationships with themselves & others.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a mental health therapist trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have guided clients through structured, evidence based interventions, identifying & challenging unhelpful thoughts & teach tailored coping skills. I also integrate CBT by, structured sessions, psychoeducation (helping clients understand the thought–emotion–behavior cycle) & providing homework to track progress & reinforce learning between sessions.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
With extensive training in mindfulness based interventions, I have supported clients in cultivating present moment awareness, self compassion & stress resilience.
Motivational Interviewing
As a mental health therapist skilled in Motivational Interviewing (MI), I have guided clients through a collaborative, client centered process that brings out their own motivations for change. I utilize core MI techniques, open ended questions, reflective listening, affirmations & summarizing to help clients resolve doubt & strengthen commitment to goals.
Strength-Based
With experience in strength based therapy, I focus on identifying & increasing clients’ innate resources, such as resilience, skills, values & past successes to foster growth.
Trauma-Focused CBT
With extensive training in trauma informed care, I create a therapy environment grounded in safety, trust, collaboration & empowerment. I focus on the clients' strengths & resilience recognizing clients’ existing coping strategies & resources & building upon these to foster post traumatic growth.
