Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Starting therapy can be a daunting prospect and it is completely normal to feel unsure of where to start, but the therapeutic relationship is a partnership where we will work together to explore your experiences and what is most important to you. We will start identifying the patterns that keep you stuck and develop the tools to make meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, capable, and empowered — so you can move forward with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of control over your life. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression related to single parenting, social anxiety, career stress, and workplace burnout. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt and pressure to “hold it all together.” If you’re navigating constant stress, isolation, or the weight of competing responsibilities, I offer a supportive space where you don’t have to manage it alone.

In our first session together, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where we will discuss what has brought you to therapy and prioritize what challenges you would like to address first. Together, we will focus on identifying patterns that are no longer serving you and developing strategies that feel realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is the approach I bring to the therapeutic relationship which is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I want my clients to feel at ease in sessions and most importantly, feel heard and accepted. My belief is that people already have the inner strengths and tools to improve their lives, and my role is to be there to help my clients uncover and amplify them. I take a very individualized approach to therapy as each person has unique needs, with my ultimate goal being to empower individuals to step outside of their comfort zone , challenge maladaptive thinking and take control of your healing.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in order to help my clients stop struggling with painful thoughts and emotions. Instead of avoiding negative feelings and emotions, understanding that they are a normal part of the human experience. My objective is to help my clients simply observe their feelings without judgement and take practical steps and actions towards the life they want to live.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helping clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, while building practical tools to manage anxiety, lift depressive symptoms, and improve day-to-day functioning. I will challenge negative thought patterns and help you become more aware of your inner dialogue and be able to evaluate your automatic thoughts more objectively.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients understand that they already possess the tools and resources to make positive change in their lives. SFBT is a present and future focused collaborative model that focuses on your strengths in order to identify what is already working as opposed to what is holding you back. You are the expert on your own life and my job is to uncover your inherent resilience and work together to come up with actionable, small step solutions to shift your mindset and define your ideal future.
