Your first session is a space for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll start by discussing what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable — there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, experiences, and current challenges, while also explaining my approach to therapy and how sessions typically flow. Together, we’ll identify your goals and begin shaping a plan that fits your unique needs. Most importantly, this first meeting is about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can start feeling heard, supported, and understood.
