You’re not “too emotional”— you’ve just been stuck in patterns that keep hurting you. Hi, I’m Eva Chocrón, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I help individuals and couples who feel emotionally overwhelmed and stuck in painful relationship patterns. You might look like you have it together… but inside, you feel anxious, reactive, or exhausted—especially in your relationships. Maybe you overgive, struggle to set boundaries, or feel unseen and misunderstood. Even when you know something isn’t working, it can feel hard to change. My work focuses on helping you understand your emotional patterns and respond differently—with more clarity, stability, and intention. Together, we’ll work on: regulating intense emotions improving communication setting boundaries without guilt building healthier, more secure relationships My approach is warm, direct, and culturally sensitive. You don’t have to keep repeating the same patterns. Change is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will introduce ourselves and will go over the specific circumstances you are facing. In a "get to know me" type of situation we will explore contextual, interpersonal and internal variables. We then will tailor a treatment plan according to the goals we wish to accomplish at our time together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I took into account individual and contextual variables and come up with solutions in a collaborative manner with my clients. My systemic and holistic and relational view of the human allows me to see beyond the content to reflect back uncovered patterns. I make my clients feel heard and seen. Feel free to contact me to set up a free phone consultation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you feel emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, or trapped in cycles that drain your energy and confidence—you're not alone. I work with individuals who are sensitive, insightful, and often hard on themselves—people who long for peace, clarity, and healthier relationships, but don’t know where to start. Whether you’re stuck in painful dynamics, struggling to set boundaries, or constantly questioning your worth, our work will help you reconnect with your inner strength and learn how to navigate life with more ease, self-trust, and emotional resilience. I also work with couples longing for deeper intimacy, better communication, and more secure emotional connection. And I support parents navigating the emotional ups and downs of raising children with anxiety, ADHD, mood issues, or oppositional behavior—helping them parent with calm, clarity, and confidence. My clients are ready for real, sustainable change. They’re done with quick fixes and spiritual bypassing. They're ready to do the work—to break unhealthy patterns, show up differently in their relationships, and create a life that actually feels good from the inside out.
