(she/her)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. My work spans various settings, including corrections, homeless services, hospitals, and substance abuse treatment facilities. I take a direct, solution-focused approach to therapy, helping individuals and couples explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a structured way that fosters self-awareness, insight, and emotional growth. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
During our first session, clients can expect a structured and engaging conversation where we explore their concerns, goals, and what has brought them to therapy. I take the time to understand their unique experiences and identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My approach is direct yet supportive. I provide candid feedback while fostering a safe space for open discussion. Together, we will begin developing a plan that incorporates self-reflective techniques and practical strategies for personal growth and emotional well-being.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to blend professional guidance with empowering self-led discovery. I offer honest, constructive feedback while creating an environment where clients feel understood and supported. My extensive experience across diverse behavioral health settings allows me to tailor my approach to various challenges, ensuring clients receive effective and personalized support. Additionally, my focus on self-reflection and actionable growth strategies makes therapy a transformative experience that extends beyond our sessions.
I work best with individuals and couples who are open to self-reflection and a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to therapy. My style resonates with those who are ready to explore their inner world, identify patterns, and take actionable steps toward growth. I am particularly well-suited for clients navigating relationship challenges, emotional struggles, and personal development goals, as well as those seeking guidance in areas such as substance abuse recovery, stress management, and major life transitions.

i found Grow Therapy online in my search for a therapist in my Network. I think I made a great choice too. Vikke's feedback takes me from where I shouldn't be to where I should be. Her suggestions, although simpler than I would have thought, appear to make more sense to me than my OWN way of looking at THINGS.
