New to Grow
Hi, I’m Marcy. I specialize in working with parents and caregivers of young children, with a focus on strengthening connection and helping families grow together through life’s challenges. Whether you’re adjusting to a new child, navigating trauma, facing the unexpected, or feeling disconnected, I’m here to help you find your way forward. Together, we will create a safe space that provides the care you deserve so that you can show up fully for yourself, your children, and your loved ones. With a warm and collaborative approach, I’m here to help you through life’s challenges so you don’t have to face them alone.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that first session feel comfortable, supportive, and productive. We’ll focus on understanding what brought you to therapy, answering any questions you have, and creating clear, meaningful goals. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling confident about the work we will do together moving forward.
I have a background in infant and early childhood mental health that allows me to offer you practical support tailored to your unique journey raising children. I will always view you as the expert of your own journey, and I am here to help you uncover the strengths that will empower you in parenthood and beyond.
Attachment-based
With attachment based therapy, we will explore how your earliest relationships impact your relationships today; build tools to regulate your emotions; and foster more supportive, trusting relationships with those in your life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
With CBT, we will explore the thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that challenge you; identify how you would like to respond based on your value system; and help you to gain confidence implementing these responses in real time.
Psychoeducation
With psychoeducation, we will explore and gain insight into the “why” behind your current challenges.
Eclectic
With an eclectic approach, I will draw on additional modalities including dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, psychodrama, child-parent psychotherapy, and play based therapies to tailor treatment to your needs and goals.
