I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge and have been practicing for 12 years. I am a diplomate of The Academy of Cognitive Therapy. As a licensed therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I am committed to helping clients identify and transform negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their emotional difficulties. Through CBT, therapy focuses on the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their lives. Through a collaborative and empathetic approach, we will work together to achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being.
Have you been feeling stuck? Having difficulty connecting in your relationships? Or have been wanting to explore underlying core beliefs or unresolved trauma that have been impacting your relationships with friends, family, and/or even the relationship with yourself? The journey to unpacking and challenging those core beliefs is a gift to yourself.
My experience includes working with BIPOC individuals, individuals who have been diagnosed with ADHD* by a psychologist/psychiatrist, and women who struggle with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. But most importantly, working alongside individuals who are struggling returning to their baseline.

*DISCLAIMER: Under my license, it is out scope to diagnose a person with ADHD. Hi, I’m Ravina, a licensed therapist (LPCC, #16404) with a deeply personal mission to create brave, healing spaces where individuals can grow, unlearn, and embrace alignment with their authentic selves. I am also a spoken word artist, published author, speaker, and cat mama of two. Through my own journey, I learned that silencing myself felt safer, people-pleasing seemed preferable, and stepping into the back row was easier than claiming my full voice. I lived for years with anxiety, trauma, and depression in the background, believing this was normal. Over time, I was fortunate to access spaces where I could process trauma, unlearn cultural conditioning, and center my voice. As both a professional artist and therapist, I’ve embraced the truth that my story matters—and I deeply believe yours does too. In sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based and intersectional approaches, including CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic and Interpersonal Therapy, and Attachment-Based approaches. While these methods are well-established, I intentionally de-center colonial and outdated techniques, keeping your goals, needs, and lived experience at the forefront. My aim is to create a warm, purposeful space where therapy feels authentic to you. I honor that therapy is not one-size-fits-all; it should not feel cold, rigid, or dictated by someone else’s agenda. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, respecting your time, and supporting your intentional choice to be here. Some journeys last months, others years—but together we work consistently and purposefully so you can move from surviving to thriving, and bloom into alignment with your true self. I am honored to witness your healing journey, exploring, unlearning, re-learning, and embracing all parts of your story as we navigate life, symptoms, and growth—together.

I work with people outside in the natural world, engaging in ecotherapy practices. We would meet at a local park in the East Bay Area, where we would sit, walk, or explore the area while tending to whatever emotions or questions are arising in you. Connecting with nature has been shown to reduce stress, loneliness, depression, and anxiety and provides a rich landscape for personal growth and healing. If you are interested in learning more, please sign up for a free 15-minute consultation (please do so before scheduling an initial session).
Current openings: Thursday afternoons at Tilden Park.
Ecotherapy is somewhat different than traditional talk therapy. While there will be space for you to share what is going on in your life, we will also take time to do grounding exercises, practice mindfulness and guided visualizations, and engage with the natural world. This modality provides a uniquely large "container" for healing work associated with woundings from childhood, traumatic experiences, grief, and unlearning patterns that no longer serve you. The natural world shows us the lifecycles of plants and animals, the interdependence of ecosystems, and the colors, textures, sounds and smells that awaken our senses. In this context, there are endless ways to make meaning of the suffering you are experiencing and to gain insight into your emotions and relationships. For people who are exploring their purpose and are considering work or relationship changes, ecotherapy can support you to embody your true self and better understand your role within the community.
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from California State University, Fullerton( go Titans!). I have practiced therapy for the past 6 years. I am a proud queer and gender diverse therapist that has experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I strive to provide LGBTQIA affirming care through all of my work.
I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
Hi! I'm Estela,
Do you ever feel stuck or just have too much going on? Are you in a transition, or having trouble coping with life stressors? A high number of people experience these things in different ways; often times, they just need a reminder of who they are to help discover their own potential to move forward in life.
I describe myself as gentle, non-judgmental, and empathic. I Iike to meet my clients where they are.
Together, we will identify your strengths, explore your emotions, thoughts, relationships and experiences and come up with coping strategies you can use to feel more confident moving forward in life.
I know it can be intimidating even making the first appointment, but it is through your first step that success will come.

Hello! I’m Brenda De Monge, a passionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 21 years of experience in community mental health. Helping and supporting youth, parents, & individuals from various cultures & socio-economic backgrounds affected by trauma. When working with trauma, sexual, physical, emotional, and domestic violence, my number one priority is safety & meeting my clients where they are, by supporting them & reaching their goals. I use these treatment methods:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I have used CBT to help clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. CBT is effective in understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We can implement this in therapy to help you live a less anxious and stressful life.
• Trauma-Focused CBT is a short-term therapy designed for children ages 3-18 who have experienced various types of traumas, including physical, emotional, & sexual abuse. When working with young children, the parents/caregivers are key, as they provide ongoing support. By attending sessions, parents will gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of the issues. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with families using this model, & it has been helpful to them.
• Seeking Safety is a treatment approach I have used with clients for more than 15 years. It assists individuals dealing with trauma & addiction by emphasizing safety and coping skills.
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has proven to be a helpful approach in easing obsessive thoughts, reducing intrusive memories, & empowering clients to stay calm while learning ways to handle future challenges and symptoms. Since 2019, I’ve supported children, teens, & adults in managing their post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, & panic disorder through EMDR. In addition, I’ve helped clients with war-related trauma & child sexual assault.

Hi, I’m Martin Alvarez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I help adults overcome stress, burnout, and relationship struggles so they can feel grounded, confident, and connected again. After earning my degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I’ve dedicated my work to supporting professionals, veterans, and families through life transitions. My approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on helping you move from surviving to thriving, both personally and professionally.
My focus is on cognitive behavioral therapy and complicated grief therapy. Sometimes we have to face our losses to be able to move forward, sometimes we have to confront our negative thoughts to clear our mind and focus on what is in front of us now.
We try to cope with the world’s challenges based on the values and strengths we built during childhood, but there are many ways to rekindle our creativity and joy as adults to re imagine a new path.
I am a compassionate listener who can hold a non- judgemental space for patients to share their beliefs, desires and concerns.

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) licensed clinical therapist with over 15 years of experience in mental health, working with individuals, couples, and families. I am a professional as well as a wife and a mother who understands the demands of juggling life. I am a Strength-based, client-centered therapist who understands the importance of our mental health, as it can have a significant impact on our physical health among other areas in our life. I provide a safe, therapeutic environment for you to work through your stressors and barriers to improve your quality of life.
Hi! I'm Angelica, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Mount St. Mary's University in Downtown Los Angeles. I work with adults struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as with clients who are having issues with low self-esteem and trouble in relationships with friends, family, coworkers or partners.
I am a LPCC based in California, offering bilingual therapy in English and Spanish. With over ten years of experience, I provide culturally responsive, evidence informed care to adults and parents. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, and major life transitions, including relationship changes, loss, and shifts in family, work, or personal roles. Many of the individuals I work with feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in familiar relational patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward after a separation or significant life change.
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. As a Latinx immigrant, I bring a deep understanding of cultural identity and the complexities of navigating multiple cultural contexts into my work. I also draw from my lived experience as a parent to a nonbinary adult, which informs my commitment to gender-affirming and inclusive care. My approach is collaborative and empathetic, focused on helping clients reconnect with themselves, find emotional steadiness, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
