New to Grow
Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can be a meaningful and courageous step, and you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted just as you are. I am a first-generation Latina, queer, and bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. I understand the complexities of navigating multiple intersecting identities and the impact this can have on mental health, relationships, and self-worth. My approach centers on honoring all parts of who you are, creating a supportive and affirming space where your lived experiences are seen, respected, and valued.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will create a safe and supportive space for you to be seen and heard. We’ll explore the experiences and moments in your life that have shaped you, as well as what brings you to therapy now. This time allows me to understand your story and, together, we’ll collaborate on identifying goals that are meaningful to you and support your growth, healing, and sense of wholeness.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a first-generation Latina, queer, and bilingual therapist, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of navigating multiple identities and roles. With over seven years of experience working with children, youth, families, and adults, I offer a culturally responsive and affirming approach to therapy. My work is grounded in person-centered and humanistic frameworks, with the thoughtful inclusion of non-religious spirituality—when appropriate— to support meaning and growth. I use humor as a therapeutic tool and prioritize creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable opening up, being themselves, and engaging in meaningful healing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may be an individual navigating questions of identity, self-worth, and cultural or family dynamics. You may be balancing multiple cultures, expectations, and lived experiences while seeking greater clarity, healing, and self-compassion. I work best with clients who want a collaborative, affirming space to strengthen their sense of self, set meaningful boundaries, and develop tools to support their overall well-being.
