New to Grow
As a Latinx, Spanish-speaking therapist, I bring a holistic and culturally responsive approach to my work. Growing up in an underserved community in Southern California, I saw firsthand how mental health was rarely discussed in many households—a reality that still exists today. This experience drives my commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health and creating safe, affirming spaces for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, multicultural and immigration-related issues, parenting challenges, and life and work stressors
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and what you hope to work on, and I’ll also invite you to share anything you’d like as we begin this process together
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I build strong therapeutic relationships through empathy, authenticity, and cultural responsiveness, while taking a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, culture, family, and environment. I adapt my therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique needs and collaborate on goals that align with their values and strengths. As a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist, I am especially attuned to the experiences of Latinx and immigrant communities and am deeply committed to reducing mental health stigma and empowering clients through self-awareness, education, and meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have worked with a variety of demographics during my time as a therapist, though my most typical clients are emerging adults and new parents.
Eclectic
I believe effective therapy is highly individualized. I take time to understand each client and thoughtfully tailor interventions based on what they respond to best
