You constantly do for others, yet neglect your own needs. You worry about things you can not control, fear the unknown, and haven't figured out how to let thoughts go. You do too much, and have a hard time saying, "No." Now, imagine what it would feel like when you finally speak up for yourself, and feel appreciated for all that you do. Hello, please call me Stephanie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 20 years in the helping profession. I love the Martial Arts for it’s discipline of the body, mind, and spirit. I believe everyone should learn some Self-Protection techniques for all aspects of life; Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial etc. Wellbeing is my personal ambition. My two favorite words are Peace and Hope. I have a faithful trust in God. I am not in charge.
In our first session together we will have a brief introduction, then we get right to the issues that have brought you here. Please complete the Intake form with as much information as possible so we know where to begin. I encourage journaling, it's a great way to get those thoughts out of your head. In order to change, you have to be willing to be uncomfortable and try something new.
I love getting down to the basics, the fundamentals, the practical action steps that can move someone from here to there. I try not to over think a matter and applaud baby steps. Let's address the patterns that have kept you on the "hamster wheel." In order to get something new, try something new. "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." - Henry Ford

Stephanie made me feel very comfortable. She understood I was meeting to decide if we should work together. She made me feel comfortable and I found myself sharing openly. I was pleased by her mind body connection in her work. She was open to speaking about spirituality which is important to me. I felt respected and enjoyed our time together.
