I am licensed in North Carolina with over 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem, bipolar disorder, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I will also discuss confidentiality, what to expect in future sessions, and then focus on the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have over 8 years of professional work experience in helping clients experiencing stress, anxiety, low self esteem, bipolar disorder, depression., mood disorders, ADHD and relationship issues. I have been fortunate to serve various populations such as children, adults, elderly, homeless, domestic violence, substance abuse and LGBTQ+. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. CBT can be a very helpful tool in treating mental health disorders, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or an eating disorder. But not everyone who benefits from CBT has a mental health condition. CBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations.
