New to Grow
I’m a compassionate and nonjudgmental clinician who is dedicated to helping clients address their struggles to enjoy life as much as possible. As I understand clients are experts in their own lives, I embrace a collaborative approach to creating therapeutic treatment plans and ensuring desired outcomes. I seek feedback from clients after each session to mitigate any potential issues. Also, I encourage clients to engage in doing homework to support themselves outside of therapy to empower them.
Our first session is a mutual assessment. You evaluate me to see if we are a good fit. We engage in an intake interview, discussing confidentiality rules, your concerns, goals, and collaboratively tailor a treatment plan. Also, I cover details about the therapy contract, including fee for no show and last-minute cancellation of sessions.
I am a great and active listener who can quietly hold space for my clients, but also respectfully challenge them when necessary.
Whether it involves professionals or not, my years of experience, education, and client-centered approach, have allowed me to successfully work with different age groups clients who experience various issues, including anxiety, depression, gender identity, family problems, couples conflict, gambling, anger management, life transition, career path, relationships, and mediation. I am great at reading nonverbal cues and facilitating the safe space clients need to verbalize their concerns, feel validated without feeling judged.
