Hello! My name is JC Abreu, and I am passionate about mental health, and assisting clients become their best selves, while processing and managing co-occurring stressors. I strive to empower and support clients in their mental health journey, and meet clients where they are. I have worked with many client populations including, LGBTQIA+, adults, aging, victims of DV, substance abuse, families, couples, cross-cultured client, and first responders. I work with a wide range of mental health complexities including but not limited to: Addiction, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, impulsivity, bipolar disorder, co-dependency, life coaching, men’s issues, OCD, race related issues, self-esteem, DV, divorce, family conflict, spirituality, trauma, and vocational stress. I am a warm, empathic, passionate, eclectic, professionally, and culturally competent therapist. I look forward to hearing from you!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
By understanding thought patterns, emotional responses, and behavioral presentation, the therapist and client can work on altering negative thought patterns, identifying better coping skills, and regulating emotions, which will impact behavioral presentations.
