I’m a licensed therapist in NY and FL and the founder of Woodrose Counseling. I work with high-achieving professionals who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stretched thin by the demands of work and life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself while also building practical tools to manage stress and feel more steady day to day. I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to move toward a more balanced and sustainable way of living.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you in. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I'll ask some questions to better understand your current concerns, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll also talk about your goals and what working together might look like moving forward. Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. By the end, you should have a clearer sense of whether this feels like a good fit and what next steps could look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance between insight and practical change. We will work together to develop insight in order to create sustainable change and also work on tools you can use in your daily life to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and feel more grounded. I also bring a culturally informed lens to our work, recognizing how your background and experiences shape how you move through the world. Therapy is tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Patients often share that they feel both understood and challenged in a helpful way. Over time, this work can lead to greater clarity, stronger boundaries, and a more sustainable way of showing up in both work and life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I tend to work best with professionals who are carrying a lot, both personally and professionally. On the outside, things may look stable or even successful, but internally there’s often a sense of overwhelm, pressure, or exhaustion that’s hard to turn off. Many of the clients I see struggle with anxiety, burnout, overthinking, or feeling like they always have to be “on.” They’re often used to being the reliable one for others, which can make it difficult to slow down, set boundaries, or prioritize their own needs without guilt. In our work together, we focus on creating space to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface, while also building practical ways to manage stress and feel more grounded day to day. My goal is to help you feel more like yourself again and be able to navigate both work and life in a way that feels sustainable.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help professionals identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, and burnout. Through practical, evidence-based strategies, clients learn how to manage overwhelming thoughts, improve emotional regulation, and feel more in control of their daily lives.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I provide culturally sensitive therapy that recognizes how your background, identity, and lived experiences shape your mental health. This approach creates a space where you feel understood and respected, while we address anxiety, stress, and burnout in a way that aligns with your values and experiences.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, meaning our work is guided by your goals, your pace, and what feels most important to you. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges openly and build greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional clarity.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and relationships. By gaining insight into these deeper patterns, individuals are able to create meaningful, lasting change and feel more grounded in their daily lives.
