I bring warmth, curiosity, and over 20 years of experience helping people navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and life transitions. My work is grounded in an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, attachment-based work, and mindfulness-informed practices to support both insight and practical change. One of my greatest strengths is looking beyond the immediate problem to understand the patterns underneath it—how past experiences, relationships, and ways of coping may be shaping what is happening today across different stages of life. I also have a strong background in school-based settings, which has deepened my understanding of developmental challenges, academic stress, peer dynamics, and family systems. I balance compassion with honesty, creating a space where people feel deeply understood while also gently challenged to see themselves and their choices in new ways. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth; therapy with me is not about having all the answers, but about helping you better understand yourself, trust your own voice, and create meaningful change that feels authentic to who you are.

Jessica M. Sepulveda, MSW, LCSW is a New Jersey licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in trauma, complex family systems, and high-conflict relational dynamics. She founded Sepulveda Therapeutic Services as a deliberately small, boutique virtual practice, a place where every client receives her direct attention, her clinical precision, and her unhurried care. Her work spans family reunification, high-conflict couples counseling, trauma-informed care for adolescents, and recovery from narcissistic abuse. She brings advanced training in personality-related dynamics, including BPD-informed support and ODD behavioral strategy, alongside a systemic lens that decodes the patterns shaping the entire family, not just the person in the chair. Clients describe Jessica as direct, warm, and exceptionally attuned. She does not hide behind technique. “Therapy for kids who don’t think it’s for them, parents in the thick of it, and women who are doing everything for everyone—except themselves.” Sound like you or someone you love? Well…I’ve got you covered! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in preteens and teenagers navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and the complicated space between parents and kids. Much of my experience was built inside a school-based health clinic at the middle school level. Working with students in the middle of their actual world, not just an office. That perspective shapes everything about how I work. As an elder millennial and a parent, myself, I understand the impossible math of work-life balance. The guilt of feeling stretched too thin and the fear that you’re somehow getting it wrong. You’re not failing your kid. You’re here, and that’s what matters. My approach is warm but direct, grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine connection. I meet kids where they are… not where we think they should be. I work alongside parents as partners, not critics. Because you know your child better than anyone. My job is to help you find each other again. I also have a passion of working with women of all ages who are navigating careers, life, the world we live in and all of the complexities in between. I provide a judgement free, open space to live your truth and get answers to those questions that keep you up at night. If any of this resonates, I’d love to connect.

Hi, I’m Juliana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker At this time, I am accepting family-based clients only through Grow Therapy, meaning that my work involves both a child or young person and their parent/caregiver. I do not provide individual therapy to parents unless I am also actively working with their child. My family work is collaborative and tailored to the needs of each family. I use parent-child psychotherapy, mediation, restorative practices, CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions. Sessions may focus on strengthening parent-child communication, navigating conflict, establishing healthy boundaries, creating consistent expectations and consequences at home, improving emotional regulation, and helping families better understand and respond to one another. Depending on the family's needs, treatment may include individual sessions with the child or young person, parent sessions, parent-child sessions, or sessions involving both parents. When a child is developmentally and clinically able to meet independently, treatment includes individual time with the child alongside regular caregiver involvement so that progress can be supported outside of therapy. Families may meet weekly or biweekly, with the option for up to two sessions per week when clinically appropriate. For example, one week may include an individual session with the child and a separate parent or parent-child session. This structure allows me to support the young person's individual needs while also addressing the family relationships and patterns that affect them outside of the therapy room. When additional support is needed, I can also collaborate with schools and other outpatient providers and incorporate safety planning and parent support around concerns such as self-harm. My approach is practical, relational, and strengths-based: I want both the young person and their caregivers to feel heard while helping the family develop healthier, more consistent ways of communicating and functioning together.

I’m Jess, a licensed clinical social worker with nearly two decades of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults through stress, transition, and emotional challenges. My style is curious, authentic, and grounded in meaningful connection, with some humor woven in when it helps. I specialize in trauma, emotion regulation, anxiety, identity development, relationship stress, and co‑occurring mental health and substance use concerns. I help the people I work with make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and build skills that strengthen how they move through the world. My approach is collaborative and practical, drawing from evidence‑based models like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma‑Focused CBT, and the Encompass model, adapted to each person’s needs and goals. I work to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and safe enough to explore what’s really going on. I ask thoughtful, direct questions with curiosity and care. Self‑work isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about becoming who you want to be in a way that feels steady, grounded, and true to you.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Child or Adolescent, is filtering therapists in New York that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
