New to Grow
Hi, I’m Melissa Salce, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Revive Psychotherapy. I provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting impact of past experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I strive to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood, while also helping you develop concrete tools to manage stress, improve communication, and build healthier patterns. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your values and personal growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you — what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to work toward. I’ll ask questions about your background, current stressors, and any relevant history to better understand the full picture. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll also begin identifying initial goals and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels helpful and aligned with your needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between insight and action. I combine culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care with practical, evidence-based methods like CBT to help clients not only understand their patterns, but actively change them. Clients often appreciate that our work is collaborative and structured, while still warm and flexible. I focus on helping you build tangible coping tools, strengthen self-awareness, and create sustainable changes that extend beyond the therapy room.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to work with individuals and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or navigating major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, first-generation individuals, or people balancing cultural and family expectations while trying to prioritize their own well-being. I support clients who want practical tools, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful change — whether that means improving relationships, healing from past trauma, strengthening self-esteem, or building healthier coping strategies.
