About me

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to improve their relationships with themselves and with others. My approach is grounded in kindness, understanding, and the belief that the stories we tell ourselves can shape our experiences. Therapy with me is a safe, compassionate space where you’ll feel heard and empowered.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive environment. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and any goals you may have. This session isn’t about quick fixes or judgment, it’s about slowing down, being heard, and beginning to lay the groundwork for meaningful change. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. By the end of our time, we’ll talk about next steps and how we can move forward together in a way that feels supportive and aligned.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach centers on respect, curiosity, and the belief that people are the experts of their own lives. I work to create a space where clients feel heard, empowered, and connected to their values and strengths. With experience across diverse backgrounds and challenges, I bring both warmth and focus to the therapeutic process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients are often thoughtful, and open to reflection but may be unsure how to move forward or make lasting change. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, or a disconnect from your sense of self, I work well with those who are curious, motivated for growth, and willing to engage in a compassionate, collaborative process.

My treatment methods

Narrative

I incorporate narrative therapy into my work by helping clients explore the stories they’ve been telling themselves especially those that may be limiting growth or reinforcing old patterns. Together, we identify how these narratives formed, gently challenge the ones that no longer serve them, and begin to shape new, more empowering stories aligned with their values and goals. This approach allows clients to reconnect with their strengths and take an active role in creating meaningful change.
