Welcome! I'm a licensed mental health counselor based in New York. I'm also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and Licensed Art Therapist. My practice is primarily psychodynamic while incorporating elements of cognitive and behavioral therapies as needed to assist in restructuring self-defeating patterns. My role is to travel your path with you, to create a space and relationship that is welcoming and safe.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have been working in this field for over 23 years. I have extensive experience working with mental health challenges and substance abuse issues. I'm also an Art Therapist and use art therapy interventions both with kids and Adults.
I recognize each person has unique needs, and I select from a variety of methods to customize our work.
