"Hello, my name is Toria Caton, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in NEW York and Connecticut with over 15 years of clinical experience providing compassionate and effective therapeutic services.I work with individual , families and couples offering a safe and supportive space where clients can explore challenges , build understanding and foster personal growth . My approach is collaborative and client - centered , with a focus on helping clients develop insight , resilience and meaningful change. offering compassionate and effective therapy services. I am based in both New York and Connecticut and provide convenient telehealth sessions to clients throughout the state. My practice focuses on supporting individuals, families, and couples navigating challenging emotional landscapes. I specialize in helping people overcome anxiety, depression, and relationship and family difficulties, creating a safe and supportive space for growth. In my sessions, I primarily utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Strength Base Modalities to focus on" what is right not wrong "I empower my clients to gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, develop coping strategies, and actively work toward achieving their therapeutic goals .

My first session i will focus on understanding what is currently happening in your life and what led you to seek therapy. We will discuss your expectation s of therapy and me as your therapist , as well as treatment goals . I will primarily listen during the session to gain better understanding of your experience . If we determine that we are a good fit , we will then discuss the next step for treatment
