I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I am committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. My approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths-based. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, caregiver fatigue, and life transitions, as well as individuals and families navigating developmental, cognitive, or physical challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills and build resilience. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we focus on identifying patterns that may be creating barriers while building strategies that promote emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and personal growth. My goal is to support each client in recognizing their strengths, developing tools for managing life’s challenges, and creating meaningful and lasting change. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and greater balance.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and creating a comfortable space where you can share what has brought you to therapy. This session is an opportunity for you to talk about your current concerns, life experiences, and the goals you hope to work toward. I will ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, and the challenges you may be facing. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and discuss how therapy can best support your needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and supportive. You can expect a nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to speak openly at your own pace. By the end of the session, we will begin outlining a plan for moving forward and identify practical steps that can support your growth and well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work with clients, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and everyday challenges. My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s difficulties.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I often use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients learn practical tools for handling overwhelming emotions and stressful situations. DBT focuses on building skills like mindfulness, managing intense feelings, improving communication, and coping with difficult moments without becoming overwhelmed. These skills help clients feel more in control, more confident, and better able to navigate relationships and life challenges.

Faith based therapy

For clients who desire it, I provide Christian faith-based counseling that integrates spiritual beliefs with professional mental health care. Many people draw strength from their faith during difficult seasons of life. In therapy, we can explore how biblical principles, prayer, and reflection can support healing while also learning practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and life challenges. My goal is to help clients grow emotionally and spiritually while building healthy coping skills, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Motivational Interviewing

I often use Motivational Interviewing, which is a collaborative approach that helps people explore what they truly want to change in their lives. Instead of telling clients what they should do, I help them reflect on their goals, values, and strengths so they can make decisions that feel meaningful and realistic. This approach helps clients feel empowered, supported, and more confident

Strength-Based

In therapy, I use a strengths-based approach, which means we focus not only on the challenges you’re facing but also on the strengths you already have. Everyone has abilities, resilience, and life experiences that can be used as tools for growth. Together, we work to identify those strengths and build on them so you can feel more confident, capable, and supported while working toward your goals.
