I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working with adults, teens, and parents who are tired of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or relationship patterns running their lives. My approach is structured but human. I integrate CBT, DBT, ERP, and somatic work to create real, measurable change — not just insight. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you build emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, and clarity so you can move through your life with more confidence and less fear.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about clarity. I’ll ask direct questions to understand what’s happening, what’s maintaining it, and what you actually want to change. We’ll identify patterns, set goals, and outline a plan so you leave knowing where we’re headed. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just come willing to be honest. From there, we build momentum.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my ability to see patterns quickly and clearly and see beneath the surface. I don’t just listen to what’s being said; I track what’s driving it. I can hold intensity without getting pulled into it, which allows my clients to feel steady and supported while we do real work. I balance validation with accountability. I won’t shame you, but I also won’t let you stay stuck. I integrate structure, strategy, and nervous system awareness so change isn’t just insight & awareness - it’s embodied and sustainable. I’m comfortable with complexity, direct when needed, and deeply committed to helping clients build resilience, not dependence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You’re insightful but stuck. You overthink. You replay conversations. You want certainty but know it’s not realistic. You may struggle with OCD, high-functioning anxiety, people-pleasing, or relationship stress. You’re motivated and ready to do the work — even when it’s uncomfortable. You don’t want therapy that just validates; you want tools, accountability, and real shifts in how you think, respond, and show up. You’re ready to stop letting fear make your decisions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge distortions, and build practical tools to shift behavior in real time. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and focused on measurable progress so clients leave with strategies they can apply immediately in daily life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate DBT skills to help clients regulate intense emotions, reduce impulsive reactions, and improve relationships. We work on distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness in a practical, skills-based way. I balance validation with accountability, helping clients build resilience while making meaningful behavioral change.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use ERP primarily with clients struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety that feels loud and relentless. We don’t fight the thoughts — we change the relationship to them. Together, we gradually face the feared triggers while reducing compulsions and safety behaviors. I’m direct but supportive in this work. ERP requires courage, and I walk alongside my clients while helping them build real tolerance for uncertainty so anxiety stops running the show.

Integrative

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I integrate CBT, DBT, ERP, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and deeper relational work depending on what the client actually needs. Some sessions are structured and skill-based; others go deeper into patterns, attachment, and nervous system regulation. My approach is collaborative and tailored — we use what works, we adjust when needed, and we focus on sustainable change, not just symptom relief.

Somatic

I incorporate somatic work to help clients reconnect with their bodies and regulate their nervous systems. We pay attention to physical sensations, tension patterns, breath, and stored stress — not just thoughts. This is especially powerful for trauma, chronic anxiety, and clients who feel stuck despite insight. I integrate grounding, body awareness, and gentle nervous system regulation so healing isn’t just cognitive — it’s embodied.
