New to Grow
I am a caring, dedicated, and compassionate licensed therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services to diverse populations. My professional experience includes treating individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-related concerns, as well as working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and holistic, recognizing the connection between emotional, psychological, relational, and environmental factors in mental health and recovery. I provide individualized treatment planning and collaborate with clients to address symptoms, strengthen coping skills, improve functioning, and support long-term stability and wellness. I am committed to ethical practice, culturally responsive care, and delivering high-quality services that align with medical necessity standards and best-practice guidelines. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment that promotes engagement, treatment adherence, and meaningful clinical outcomes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a supportive, trusting relationship. We will review important background information, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals and concerns at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, strengths, and supports, while also allowing space for you to share what feels most important. This session is collaborative and trauma-informed, meaning you are always in control of what you choose to share. We will also review confidentiality, the therapy process, and next steps, including treatment recommendations and how we can work together moving forward. The goal of the first session is to create a safe, respectful space and ensure that therapy feels like a good fit for your needs
