I have been using CBT for many years in my practice. I have seen many clients use these techniques identifying how their mind functions with recurring thoughts, emotions and behavior work. I have noted significant decreases with their anxiety levels. When you are confronted with anxiety producing triggers, you can learn how to change your anxious thought process. These triggering thoughts affect your feelings, and your entire day is affected. Ultimately, as you identify triggers, your behavior changes. You will learn to spot these negative thoughts when they surface. There are many techniques and just to name a few, that we will touch on, is thought-stopping, reframing-changing the thought and other such techniques. We will use these cognitions to improve your knowledge of faulty thoughts and stories you have created in your mind. You will have a clearer understanding of these dynamics through practice to enjoy a less anxious and stressful lifestyle. Worksheets will be provided to help you during our time in between sessions.
