New to Grow
I’m Stephanie, a warm, honest therapist with 11 years of experience. I help teens and adults with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, stress, substance use, and food or body concerns. I meet you where you are, listen without judgment, build on your strengths, and shape therapy around your needs, goals, comfort, values, and pace. Together, we’ll create practical steps toward lasting and meaningful change.
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and what has or hasn’t helped before. I’ll explain how I work, answer your questions, and collaborate with you on goals that feel realistic and meaningful. You can expect a calm, welcoming space and a pace that respects your comfort.
I bring a calming presence, flexibility, and experience across outpatient and inpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is open-minded, empowering, and solution-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all; I listen carefully, build on your existing strengths, and balance supportive space with honest feedback and practical next steps.
I work best with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, substance use, or food and body image concerns. My ideal clients want a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also being open to honest reflection and practical change. You do not need to have everything figured out; we can clarify your goals together, work at a comfortable pace, and build on strengths you already have.
I use motivational interviewing to help you explore ambivalence, clarify what matters most, and identify your own reasons for change. We work collaboratively and without judgment, building on your strengths so that next steps feel realistic, personally meaningful, and sustainable.
