(she/her)
I want to start by saying that making the choice to begin therapy is a courageous and meaningful step—I honor that fully.
I'm a bilingual Latina therapist, and I bring a culturally grounded, compassionate lens to my work with individuals from all walks of life. With extensive experience across a wide range of evidence-based and insight-oriented modalities, I tailor therapy to meet you exactly where you are—emotionally, culturally, and personally.
At the heart of my practice is Person-Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, which means I strive to create a space that is safe, empathic, and deeply respectful. Your story matters. Your feelings matter. My goal is to ensure you feel genuinely seen and heard as we navigate challenges together.
To support deeper exploration and self-understanding, I integrate Psychodynamic principles to help uncover early relational patterns, unconscious beliefs, and internal dynamics that may be influencing your present experience. This approach provides clarity, especially if you're feeling stuck in patterns that seem hard to name or change.
I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and day-to-day stressors. I’ve applied CBT in a wide range of settings and while working with adolescents as a school-based therapist, community mental health and Veterans, always tailoring it to your learning style and goals.
For many years, I’ve specialized in Cognitive Processing Therapy —particularly with Veterans working through trauma-related symptoms. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and culturally sensitive, focusing on helping clients process and shift painful beliefs rooted in traumatic experiences.
No matter your background or what brings you to therapy, you deserve support that feels affirming and effective. My role is to walk beside you—offering warmth, clarity, and skill—as you explore healing, growth, and meaningful change.
