My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has been a mainstay in my outpatient practice since 2015. I think that this is an important modality to help clients understand the link between thoughts and behaviors. This modality allows us to address problematic thoughts and how they maybe leading to increased emotional distress and negative outcomes.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have been using principals of ACT for 5 years. This modality is important as it allows clients to work towards accepting negative thoughts and situations, but instead of being held down by them be free and open to make needed changes.

Narrative

I have been using principals of this modality for almost 10 years. I think that it is important to help and allow the client to tell there story and create a story for their improved future.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have always been focus on solutions. My philosophy is that we should always be working toward solutions, which allows easier progress tracking as well as helps clients stay engage and motivated in treatment.

Strength-Based

I believe that all individuals have the strength to make positivie change and i am to focus on highlighting and using those strengths to help clients make long term and meaningful positive change.
