(she/her)
The counseling profession, for me, was precipitated out of a necessity to have an impartial view of the events of life. I believe there is power in addressing one’s physical and emotional needs. My toolbox of life experiences has provided me with the ability to understand common patterns of beliefs that affect most people in life’s journey. My passion involves healing that improves one’s personal lives and their interactions with others. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and a graduate of Liberty University. I have been licensed for several years and have worked in residential treatment and in a community-based healthcare organization. I have worked with children as well as adults. Currently, I am being trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, but have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Christian Counseling.
In my job as a counselor, I desire to help you be more successful at targeting problems and interactions that seem to be problematic at this point in your life. I desire to provide you with a toolbox of coping strategies to assist with managing unpleasant emotions and dealing with stress.

I feel I can integrate biblical truth with therapeutic methods to help people see their lives through a biblical lens. We can pray through issues, if desired, to assist with spiritual growth and maturity, while addressing emotional and psychological needs.
