I know how overwhelming it can be to struggle with anxiety, depression, and burnout—especially when past help hasn’t felt like the right fit. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs. I integrate Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, IFS, DBT, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, with Christian integration available upon request. I’ve worked in mental health since 2007 and earned my degree from Liberty University in 2022. I understand the complexities of deep emotions, neurodiversity, and personal growth, and I create a space where you feel truly seen and heard. If you’re looking for a therapist who values your individuality and meets you where you are, I’d be honored to support you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where your comfort and sense of safety are prioritized. This initial meeting is all about getting to know each other; I'll be keen to understand your unique experiences, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. We'll discuss your background, any specific challenges you're facing, and your goals for therapy. It's also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for my therapeutic approach, ensuring that we're a good fit for each other. This session is the foundation of our therapeutic relationship, designed to build trust and set the stage for your journey towards healing and personal growth. Together, we'll outline a preliminary plan tailored to your needs, marking the first step on your path to well-being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is eclectic and deeply person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to fit you—your experiences, your strengths, and your goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. If faith is important to you, I also offer Christian integration upon request. I earned my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2022, but my journey in mental health started long before that—I’ve been working in the field since 2007. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals facing complex mental health challenges, and I’ve seen firsthand the resilience that comes from finding the right support.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Maybe you're feeling exhausted—burnt out, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn. Anxiety and depression may be weighing on you, making it hard to feel connected in your life or in therapy. You’ve reached out for help before but haven’t felt truly seen, heard, or understood. You’ve tried so hard, only to be met with challenge after challenge. And yet, despite it all, you’re still searching, still hoping for something different. I see your resilience. I see the effort it’s taken to get here.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful approach that helps clients understand and heal their inner world. IFS views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own role, and helps foster self-compassion by addressing internal conflicts. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, emotional regulation, and self-acceptance. By working with these parts, clients can develop greater inner harmony, reduce distress, and build a stronger sense of self.

Somatic

I specialize in Somatic Therapy, a body-centered approach that helps clients process emotions, trauma, and stress by connecting with physical sensations. Many struggles—such as anxiety, burnout, and emotional dysregulation—are stored in the body. Through grounding techniques, breathwork, and movement awareness, I help clients release tension, build resilience, and develop a deeper mind-body connection. This approach fosters healing beyond talk therapy, promoting lasting emotional balance.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. DBT is especially effective for those struggling with intense emotions, anxiety, depression, or burnout. I create a supportive space where clients learn practical tools to manage overwhelming feelings, improve relationships, and find balance between acceptance and meaningful change.

Christian Counseling

Through counseling, we will work together to foster healing, forgiveness, and renewal, helping you navigate difficulties while staying rooted in your spiritual convictions. My goal is to support you in finding deeper meaning, purpose, and resilience—equipping you with both faith-based wisdom and practical tools to move forward with confidence and peace.
