New to Grow
I am a licensed psychologist who provides evidence-based, compassionate care for adults and adolescents. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and clinical hypnotherapy to support meaningful and lasting change. I focus on helping clients develop practical coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and strengthen emotional resilience. I strive to create a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where clients feel supported as they work toward their goals.
During your first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and understanding your concerns, history, and goals for therapy. I'll ask questions to gather relevant background information and explore what brings you to therapy at this time. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach, discuss what you hope to achieve, and begin building a collaborative plan tailored to your needs. Together, we will identify initial strategies and set the stage for meaningful progress in your therapy journey.
One of my greatest strengths as a psychologist is my ability to blend evidence-based approaches with individualized, client-centered care. I integrate a blended approach to create a flexible and effective treatment plan tailored to each client's needs. What sets me apart is my skill in helping clients identify and transform unhelpful patterns while building practical coping strategies, emotional resilience, and self-awareness. My experience working with diverse populations and complex clinical presentations allows me to engage clients in a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where thy feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are motivated to understand their patterns, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in their daily lives. I work especially ell with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma histories, relationship challenges, or difficulty managing emotions. Clients who appreciate a collaborative, structured approach-while also being open to deeper self-exploration-tend to benefit most from my style of therapy.
I have extensive training and clinical experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I use as a primary evidence-based approach in my work with clients. In practice, I use CBT to help clients identify the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This is a collaborative approach.
Hypnotherapy is used as an adjunct clinical technique to support evidence-based treatment. When appropriate, I incorporate guided hypnotic exercises to enhance relaxation, increase focus, and facilitate cognitive and behavioral change. These interventions are integrated into the overall treatment plan and are applied to address symptoms such as anxiety, stress, and maladaptive behavioral patterns.
In my practice, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as an evidence-informed, experiential approach to help clients increase emotional regulation and reduce distress. IFS intervnetions focus on identifying internal parts, understanding their functions, and fostering a more integrated and adaptive self-leadership. These techniques are incorporated within the overall treatment plan to support symptom reduction, improve coping skills, and address patterns related to anxiety, trauma, or relational difficulties.
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a structured, skills-based intervention to help clients improve emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. i use DBT strategies such as mindfulness, behavior chain analysis, and skills coaching to reduce maladaptive behaviors and enhance coping capacity. These interventions are integrated into the client's individualized treatment plan to support symptom reduction and improve functional outcomes.
