Hello, I am Pricila. Happy New Year! I am here to help you with your New Years goals for a happier and healthier you! My motto is focus on what you can control! Do you struggle with that inner critic, the voice in your head that is very good at beating you down? Do you struggle with emotions or feelings that are left over from past trauma? Do you struggle with forming heathy relationships? Or forgiving and accepting yourself completely? I have helped clients ages 17-90s work through life's events by offering a safe space for clients to gain insight, learn about themselves, heal for painful experiences, and gain control over there life. In my practice I help clients to unlearn unhealthy learned behaviors, gain more confidence, and learn to fully accept themselves though a compassionate culturally sensitive approach.
I specialize in brief collaborative therapy where we look at current issues, how you cope, how you learned the coping skills and alternatives solutions. We will look at your self-care including spirituality and how to improve your self care if needed. Weekly assignment tasks related to your short term goals will be agreed upon. We will work together to learn and understand where you are now and how the past has impacted you. Engaging in therapy can be anxiety provoking, exciting and freeing. If you are willing to work on our mutually agreed upon assignment between our counseling sessions, you will find we make progress.
I worked in criminal justice prior to being licensed in Michigan where I grew up and studied. Upon moving to Chicagoland, I worked 10 years with a crisis response team and an employee assistance program. This is where I learned to develop skills to drill down into client issues and work with the client to reduce discomfort and improve coping skills. Our counseling sessions did not last beyond 6-8 meetings. I moved to Texas in 2003 and since then have continued to work on crisis teams and with military members/spouses on installations. My practice has been focused on supporting couples communications; life transitions including grief/loss, career transitions, parenting skills and integrating/applying client's spiritual practice into every day life.
Clients describe me as safe to talk with about difficult topics; active and contributing to the dialog; creative in opening up behavioral and cognitive options.
My name is Marie Mason and I moved to the United States in 1994 to teach. My work with children eventually led me to counseling. I have been licensed for seven years and I work with all ages. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.

Something you may be curious about is why I became a therapist. There’s a long version and a short version, so I think I’ll give you the medium version. I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people. I have always enjoyed building relationships with others, and helping where and when I can. I can honestly say. I have a lot of life experiences that have helped me with being subjective, and have cultivated who I am today.
During my journey, I was able to spend time with people who were different than me, which has helped expand my mind, understand, admire, and connect with people who have a wide variety of views, beliefs, and experiences. After I graduated college, I worked at a community mental health agency that has provided me with a lot of experiences in many different areas of mental health. It is a lot of work, but I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with so many different people, and in different capacities.
I am passionate about the human experience, and I currently see my mission as empowering others to explore their identity, discovering their authentic selves, and allow themselves to step into their truth. It is important to know I am on this journey of life myself! I’m not a therapist who thinks she has all the answers, or who’s going to give you my opinions as fact, or who will tell you exactly what you should do. I see my role as a dedicated partner here to collaborate with you and assist you in uncovering all the layers that make you who you are.
Welcome to a journey of self-discovery and healing! I believe that the mind, body, and spirit must work together for us to become our best and most beautiful selves. Sometimes life’s journey can feel like one obstacle after another. We will challenge self-defeating beliefs, unhealthy addictions, and self-defeating patterns of behavior. Depression, anxiety, trauma, etc have a way of interfering with day-to-day living and blocking us from peace and happiness. But there is HOPE.
The process of healing can be difficult, so my intent is to walk with my clients through every step on their way to healing. By employing evidence based therapeutic approaches and intervention strategies, my goal is for my clients to become the very best version of themselves!
I am bi-lingual, speaking English and Spanish. I am here to support you in that process.
Hello and welcome. You have taken a big step towards helping yourself. I hope that I have the privilege of working with you.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker servicing the mental health needs of individuals and groups for over 15 years. I graduated with my undergraduates in Psychology and Spanish, followed by my Master's of Science in Social Work, and ended with my Doctorate of Clinical Leadership in Social Work. I help people deal with day to day life challenges brought on by mental health concerns in our lives. My experience includes work with multi-ethnic children in foster group homes, adults in the Dallas area, women, and more recently with active duty military personnel. I help my clients process and heal from trauma using various methods to meet each person where they are at. Providing therapy is a privilege for me. I'd love to see if I may be of service to you. Please schedule a session if you're interested in working together. Sometimes, the best is yet to come.
Hello, I'm Susan.

I look forward to working with you!
Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.
Whether you are struggling with relationships, work, anxiety, depression, or feel "stuck," you are no longer alone in your journey. Entering therapy is a brave choice, and helping you to reach your personal goals is my objective when partnering with you. I provide a safe, professional, warm environment where you can process your circumstances and make the necessary changes to live the life you want to live.
