I have over a decade of experience treating clients at the clinical level. As a former Army Chaplain, I have assisted Soldier and Family members in the most extreme circumstances - to include combat. As a fellow human being, I meet my clients on common ground to assist them in gaining traction and moving forward. I come beside people to help them see their strengths, capabilities, and new possibilities. I help people to find a ray of hope when their life is stuck at the midnight hour.
Work, family, relationships—it can all feel like a lot at once. When you’re trying to hold everything together, even small stressors can feel overwhelming. Anxiety can take over your days, and the weight of depression can make simple tasks feel impossible. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
I’m Cheryl, a trauma-informed therapist who works with neurodivergent adolescents and adults. I believe that the qualities that make you different can also be the qualities that make you powerful. Sensitivity, depth of feeling, and even perfectionism can become strengths when understood with compassion. With warmth, humor, and steady support, I help clients build emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience.
My goal is to create a safe, grounded space rooted in trust and optimism. I use evidence-based methods tailored to your needs while honoring your lived experiences. Together, we’ll explore the “why” and “how” behind your emotions and patterns so you can create more helpful ways of thinking, coping, and moving through the world.
Hello and welcome. You have taken a big step towards helping yourself. I hope that I have the privilege of working with you.
My name is Yvette Ramirez, and I am a licensed professional counselor. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I continued my education at Capella University and graduated with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. I started my counseling career working with clients I visited in their homes and helped them understand their diagnosis, teach them how to cope with their symptoms, and taught the importance of medication adherence. I was promoted to the Integrated Care department where I practiced solution-focused therapy with clients whose medical issues exasperated their mental health issues, or vice versa. I was trained and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the State of Texas and continue to utilize CBT in my practice today. I was promoted to a supervisory position for the Assertive Community Treatment Team and led a team of 13 case managers, nurses, and LCDCs, who worked with clients who were high utilizers of the local mental health hospitals and were in crisis often. I was the lead counselor for the team. and was trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy to assist our clients with the trauma they have endured and taught them to challenge the negative thoughts they had about themselves regarding the trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming to help those who have lived through a traumatic event that is causing distress in their lives, or clients who endure distress they find difficult to handle. I have worked with individuals, couples and families seeking counseling for over 10 years, both online and in person, and expanded my counseling career working with children, adolescents, and teenagers now for 8 years.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you’re used to carrying everything on your own. Have you ever been told to "get over it", that whatever you are going through will be okay, or that what you're going through isn't a big deal? Then I can help!
Hi, I’m Debbie, a therapist who believes healing happens through connection, compassion, and honest conversations.
I help people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of their next step. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to start.
If this resonates with you, you’re in the right place. 🩷
You are the expert of your own life—your experiences, feelings, and thoughts are invaluable guides to your mental well-being. In my practice, I take a Whole Health approach to counseling, supporting you in a way that honors your unique needs. I believe that true change comes from nurturing every aspect of your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, and more. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and cultivate lasting growth, using your insights as the foundation. If you’re ready to invest in your mental wealth, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My path to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help others find meaning and healing in their lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges can impact our well-being, and I saw the profound difference that compassionate support can make. These early experiences inspired me to learn more about how we cope, grow, and ultimately thrive, even in the face of adversity. As I continued my education and personal growth, I became increasingly drawn to the field of mental health. I was captivated by the resilience and wisdom people bring to their healing journeys. I realized that being a provider would allow me to walk alongside others as they navigate their unique paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to support their goals. What truly motivates me is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation. I am honored to help create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. My journey as a provider is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to whole-person care, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to support others.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with diverse populations facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, addiction, long term incarceration, mental health struggles, and life transitions. Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been working as a psychotherapist for the past 4 years. I have experience in a number of settings prior to becoming a therapist including working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital for 4 years. I am comfortable working with adults with issues related to anxiety, depression, PTSD and life transitions.
While in therapy I will help you identify your inner strengths and regain control over your life. I will remind you to “not give up on yourself” and the goals you have for your life. I focus on you learning to truly love who you are, including your childhood, past, trauma, and hurt, as all of these experiences have impacted who you are, but they do not have to define you. I will place a high emphasis on building a strong rapport with you and making therapy more like a relaxed conversation. There is no need to feel ashamed or timid about sharing your experiences, as you did not come to me to be judged, you came to me for help, and that is what I am here to offer. I know therapy can be challenging to start and commit to, especially when it comes to making positive changes, so know that I will challenge you and ask you some hard questions, not to intimidate you, but to help you grow.
Hello, I’m Pricila, LCSW.
I am a Master’s-level Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience, and I provide psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish. I am dedicated to helping individuals work toward a happier, healthier, and more balanced life. My guiding philosophy is to focus on what you can control while developing the insight and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with a persistent inner critic, unresolved emotions from past trauma, difficulty forming or maintaining healthy relationships, and challenges related to self-forgiveness and self-acceptance. I have experience working with clients ages 17 through older adulthood, supporting them through life transitions, emotional distress, and healing from painful experiences.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work collaboratively with clients to gain insight, unlearn unhealthy patterns, strengthen confidence, and develop self-acceptance through a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach. I value meeting clients where they are and honoring each individual’s lived experience.

Trauma work is my passion. In the nearly twenty years I have worked in this field I am constantly astonished and rewarded by the growth I witness as individuals experience healing. My own journey through trauma led me to my work, and granted me the opportunity to experience an array of ways to heal. I now incorporate personal and observed experiences into my counseling practice to help others experience growth and healing.
I incorporate mind and body work through breath work, yoga and EMDR. I would love to connect and start, or continue with you on your healing journey.
I am a second career social worker, who graduated with my MSW in 2014 and my Ph.D. in 2019, both from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but have lived in the Houston area for 30+ years. I decided to become a social worker because of my personal experiences raising a child with behavioral health issues and experiencing profound loss following the sudden death of my husband. My goals were to help others the way my own family had been helped, but I also hoped to improve the experiences of others with similar lived experiences but less positive outcomes. In addition to my private practice, I am an adjunct professor at the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work, and I frequently consult with immigration lawyers about the ways in which mental health issues may impact the path to asylum or citizenship. I practice with a trauma-informed style and am always conscious of the ways in which trauma impacts the lives and experiences of individuals in all walks of life. I have experience working with people who live with ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, and mood disorders generally. My goal is to support my clients in achieving their own goals for a happier and healthier life.
I am licensed in Texas, and currently work in a high school setting as my full time job. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBT-related issues, & depression. I am now trained in EMDR which is a great modality to help clients with trauma and PTSD live a happy and healthy life. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I have thirteen years of clinical experience counseling individuals struggling with issues including anxiety, depression and trauma. I greatly value providing you with an authentic and judgement free experience. I find my clients appreciate my direct approach. In other words, I will give it to you straight. We will work towards what you want in life and that often means moving through what one historically avoids. What lies on the other side of the pain is the life you were meant to live. I also enjoy incorporating humor into our work together. Anxiety, depression and trauma often steal our joy and sense of humor. Joy and humor can be found again.

Welcome my friends. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 20 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It is time well spent to analyze our guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!
Hi, I'm Amneris Rosario.
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you…too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it.
Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here, you don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC) licensed in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey, an Army veteran, and the founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I have spent over 10 years supporting more than 2,000 clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions that once felt impossible to navigate. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, addiction, trauma, ADHD, OCD, and some of the hardest moments of their lives... and here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve support that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself.
I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, self-sabotage and recurrent patterns, complex PTSD and personality disorders, as well as life transitions.
I know life can get busy, so I offer weekend availability, early-morning sessions, and after-hours appointments (6:00 AM–10:00 PM), along with self-pay options to give you a little more flexibility.
I am a therapist with more than a decade of experience in therapy, mental health, addiction, and social work. As a validating and compassionate therapist, I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, addressing trauma, and focusing on women's issues. My approach is to create a safe and understanding space where you can explore your challenges and work towards healing and personal growth.
I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy.
I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.
I am Casey Linda Unger, Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the mental health field since 1996 and licensed since 2002.
My experience ranges from working with the chronically mentally ill in public mental health, private practice, inpatient psychiatric, diagnostics/assessment, crisis intervention, anger management, and employee assistance.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the effectiveness it has in pointing out negative thought patterns.
Through CBT I can help you see unconscious schemas that are leading you to do what you do, where they came from, how they developed, and ultimately how to become your own therapist reframing and moving forward on your own.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Therapist in Massachusetts and Texas, with over six years of experience walking alongside individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. As a Christian therapist, I offer a compassionate, faith-centered space for healing, growth, and transformation.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative, grounded in empathy, trust, and evidence-based practices. Whether you're navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or emotional distress, we’ll work together to develop a personalized plan that honors your story, values, and goals. I integrate a range of modalities, including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, TBRI, and trauma-informed care—always tailored to your unique needs and pace.
Hi! I am an LPC based in Texas and I have been working collaboratively with my patients since 2013. My primary focus has been working with people who have serious mental health and trauma needs. I enjoy working with patients to help them develop hope for their future and confidence in their current and future goals and capabilities. I strive to continue to learn and grow and to develop new and innovative ways to help my patients.
I try to provide a safe and private space where someone can process their feelings and emotions and discuss the difficulties they are experiencing. I like to help people find solutions to the problems they are having and help them continue living their lives without their traumas or their past weighing them down. Every person deserves to live life to the fullest.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.

I’m Mariam Saibu, a somatic mental health therapist specializing in women’s mental health and the unique ways trauma, stress, and mood challenges show up in both mind and body. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and maintain specialized licenses in trauma, addiction, and vocational counseling. Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient, outpatient, and state agency settings, providing care for children, adolescents, and adults. These experiences gave me the opportunity to treat a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, self-esteem struggles, substance use, and career transitions. I have also supported individuals on the autism spectrum in building social and behavioral skills to thrive in both employment and relationships.
While I have worked with diverse populations, my passion lies in supporting women—particularly those navigating trauma, mood dysregulation, and life changes. I am licensed to practice in Georgia and Texas. I integrate my background in both biology and counseling to take a holistic approach to care. By weaving together somatic practices with evidence-based therapies, I help clients address how trauma and stress impact the body as well as the mind.
In our work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and respect. My role is to walk alongside you, providing tools and insight to help you move forward while creating a safe environment for growth. Whether you’re seeking to manage trauma, improve mood and self-esteem, or find clarity in life’s transitions, I am here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
I am a mental health therapist (LPC) from Texas with 3+ years of experience. I help clients cope and process through concerns related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQ+, relationship issues, social anxiety/panic, and trauma. Life brings inevitable ups and downs. As a therapist, I feel honored to foster a safe space which allows for an intentional and non-judgemental relationship to develop. This allows my clients to dig deep and discover incredible growth.
I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. I have provided clinical supervision within both the Department of Defense headquarters and at the Veteran Affairs hospital, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to joining the Civil Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.
For over 15 years, I have provided licensed mental health services in Texas, offering compassionate care to adults navigating life’s challenges. My approach centers on mental wellness, and empowering individuals to find their unique balance. From anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use, I’m here to help. Through empathy, self-care and self-compassion, real progress and meaningful change are possible.
