As an empathetic and warm Licensed Professional Counselor, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and I believe the therapeutic relationship should be built on trust, collaboration, and compassion. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University and have been practicing in Texas since 2016. I have extensive experience working with adults facing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is personalized to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical tools that support long-term emotional wellness and personal growth. I work best with clients who are ready to invest in themselves and actively engage in the therapy process. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or simply seeking support through a difficult season of life, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges while creating meaningful and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy at this time. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to gain from counseling. There is no pressure to share everything at once—this is a gradual process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will also ask some questions to better understand your emotional, mental, and relational experiences, which helps me begin to form a clear picture of how to best support you. Together, we will identify initial goals for therapy and begin discussing what a helpful path forward might look like. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about therapy, my approach, and what you can expect moving forward. My priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. I bring a calm and steady presence to sessions, which helps clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions, life experiences, and patterns that may feel overwhelming or stuck. I am highly attuned to each client’s unique needs and tailor my approach accordingly, meeting clients where they are while gently supporting growth and change at a pace that feels manageable. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and strive to build strong, trusting connections that foster openness and meaningful work. I also bring a practical, collaborative approach to therapy, helping clients translate insight into real-life tools they can use outside of sessions. I am skilled at helping clients identify patterns, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier coping strategies that support lasting emotional and behavioral change. Above all, I am deeply committed to walking alongside clients as they work toward healing, resilience, and a greater sense of clarity and well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, make meaningful changes, and actively engage in the therapy process. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, or patterns that no longer serve them. They may feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward, but they are motivated to gain insight, build healthier coping skills, and create lasting change in their lives. I especially enjoy working with clients who are open to self-reflection and want a supportive, collaborative space where they can feel heard without judgment. Together, we focus on building practical tools, increasing emotional awareness, and developing healthier thought patterns and behaviors that support long-term growth and well-being.
