My passion is to help individuals live their best lives. Drawing from my own experiences of overcoming unexpected and life-altering challenges, I recognize that such times can feel incredibly daunting. However, through awareness, courage, and the right skills, we can collaborate to navigate those seemingly hopeless situations. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor; I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I'm here to support and connect with people of all ages, including children, adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I'm thrilled to let you know that I'm certified for telehealth sessions, making it even more convenient for you. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending quality time with my family, and engaging in some self-care. Plus, I'm currently on an exciting journey toward obtaining my Doctorate in Professional Counseling. It is truly an honor and a humbling experience for me to offer therapy to those who are going through difficult times and striving for wellness. My life's passion is dedicated to bringing healing and wholeness to individuals, couples, and families. Let's work together towards a path of growth and well-being!
In the first session, clients will be expected to provide insight into their needs from therapy or what they would like to get out of therapy. I will also provide them a brief description of how Natural Processing would be applied in therapy, often with a preview of a topic they would like to focus on in the upcoming sessions.
My personal life struggles and circumstances helped me sit the in the client's shoes during some of the most difficult seasons of life. While life threw curveballs and the ground underneath felt like it was falling apart, experiencing therapy as a client helped me gain strength to face life again. I received hope in a seemingly hopeless situation and this is the greatest strength to be able to provide my clients. It is also important for me as a therapist that the client feel heard and understood in session, without the fear of judgment.
Having worked with adolescents and adults in the past 7 years, I find myself best positioned to serve young and adult individuals who are dealing with a variety of life circumstances, from self esteem issues in high school to childhood trauma showing up as PTSD in retirement. I understand what it feels like for beginners to seek therapy, no matter the age, and hope to allow the client to transition into a space that allows their true self to be reflected as well as benefited through the therapy experience.

Mind-body approach
Natural Processing is the official term of the modality of therapy. It combines a form of Somatic EMDR and Bilateral Stimulation in a mind-body connection approach.
EMDR
A form of EMDR which incorporates somatic sensations, formally known as "Somatic EMDR". In practice, I use physical tapping or eye-movement stimulation for bilateral stimulation.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Incorporating the Window of Tolerance, I use a mindfulness approach to tune in with the client's presence with the self throughout the duration of the session.
