Hi there! Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I am an experienced child, adolescent, and adult counselor, dedicated to helping my clients cope with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, PTSD, and stress. I have been practicing in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 5 years. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist is pivotal for healing to occur. Feel free to reach out, whether you have questions, concerns, or are ready to take the next step toward your holistic healing and personal growth. I'm here to help!
As a former first responder and United States Army veteran, I have had the privilege of serving others in some of the most challenging environments. This journey has shaped my deep understanding of trauma, addiction, and personality disorders, and I’m eager to apply my experiences to help those who are navigating their own struggles. My time in the military and as a first responder has given me a unique perspective on the challenges people face when dealing with trauma. I have an eclectic approach that is centered in trauma-informed care, person-centered, with humor injected into my interactions with clients.
Recognizing the need for help is an important first step. In fact, rather than acknowledging a weakness, it is a sign of strength. I want to help you to build on that strength to achieve success in the areas you are struggling with.
Specializing in relationship dynamics, I invite individuals, couples, and families to improve communication, resolve conflict, and build skills to manage anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and more. Christian counseling, men's issues, and family roles are additional areas of special focus I provide.
I believe in personal responsibility, the reality of options at your disposal, and your ability to make decisions that are good for you with clarity. Ownership results in liberty. I would be working with you to help things make more sense and see a path forward.

Let’s face it, sometimes making the decision to seek therapy is not easy. In fact, it may be one of the hardest decisions you’ll make in your lifetime. I empower my clients and reassure them that they will not walk their therapeutic journey alone. I pride myself on being an empathetic listener and a collaborative partner during my client’s process of healing. Together, we work diligently to help you achieve the goals that you have for yourself.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist serving clients in Florida, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Texas, I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and reconnection. I believe that true healing is not just about the mind, but also about honoring the body and nurturing the spirit. This belief has shaped my Somatic Insight Therapeutic Approach—one that gently invites you back into relationship with yourself.
With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I have seen how powerful it can be when we slow down and begin to listen to what the body is holding. Together, we create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your inner experiences with curiosity and compassion. By weaving together mindfulness, body awareness, and evidence-based therapeutic practices, I help you tune into your emotions, understand your nervous system, and move through your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
Our work together is collaborative and personalized. We may integrate reflective conversation, breathwork, and gentle somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body, build self-awareness, and find a sense of grounding and steadiness within. My intention is to support you in feeling more at home in yourself—more connected, more resourced, and more empowered in your healing.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life transitions, or the lingering effects of trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. I am here to walk alongside you with care and intention, as you rediscover your strength, reclaim your story, and move toward a deeper sense of balance, peace, and wholeness.

Hello there, I'm Liz! I work with clients who are wanting to heal from past trauma experiences and get to the root causes of their struggles. What if you could write the story of your life? The truth is, you can, you are in control of your destiny, you are writing the story of your life right now. The choices you make are directly related to the thoughts you have. That puts you in control, you have the ability to change the way you think, and when you change the way you think, you change your life.
The thoughts you are thinking right now are writing the story of your life. If you are not happy with the story, you can reprogram your thoughts to change the story and write it the way you want it to go. Together you and I can work to manage the challenges you are facing today.
Therapy may seem scary or even overwhelming, but with the right partner you really can change your life. Together we will explore how your thoughts and the dimensions of wellness are affecting your life and find a path to change the story of your life, to one of positive emotional and mental well-being.

I graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland (B.A. Psychology), and obtained a Master's in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. I am licensed to provide professional counseling independently in Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and providing therapy in English and Spanish. Treatment is about finding hope despite the circumstances. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who treats children (ages Zero+), teens, and adults.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and affirming, with attention to identity, power, and the broader systems that shape our lives. I mostly work with women-identifying, LBGTIQA+, autistics and neurogivergent folx with trauma histories. I have worked in clinical mental health for 25 years in the United States and Mexico. My professional path has been shaped by work that consistently calls for both personal and professional growth, deep self-reflection, and a commitment to ethical, relational care.
I am Casey Linda Unger, Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the mental health field since 1996 and licensed since 2002.
My experience ranges from working with the chronically mentally ill in public mental health, private practice, inpatient psychiatric, diagnostics/assessment, crisis intervention, anger management, and employee assistance.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the effectiveness it has in pointing out negative thought patterns.
Through CBT I can help you see unconscious schemas that are leading you to do what you do, where they came from, how they developed, and ultimately how to become your own therapist reframing and moving forward on your own.
Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)
I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations.
Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California, and I help adults navigate burned out, anxiety, and life transitions. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My approach combines evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques, helping you build practical tools while also understanding the deeper patterns that keep you stuck. In our sessions, you can expect a space that is both compassionate and practical-no nodding silently for 50 minutes. You've been handling a lot on your own for a while now... and doing a pretty good job at it, honestly. But just because you can carry it all doesn't mean you're supposed to. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of holding everything together, that's usually where I come in!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. I've worked in both acute medical and behavioral health settings, so I'm comfortable navigating real-life situations and helping you get clear on what's going on and what to do next in a way that makes sense. I'm just as light-hearted, grounded, and easygoing, as I am intentional and honest. I pride myself on being warm, supportive, unpretentious, and genuine.
Therapy with me feels more like a real conversation than anything else. You don't have to come in polished or "put together". Show up exactly as you are. I'll meet you with zero judgment, but I'm not the therapist that's just going to nod and let you stay stuck! We're going to talk it through, get clear, and actually shift some things.
Clarity first, then change- in that order!

Welcome. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience working alongside individuals as they build resilience, deepen self‑understanding, and move toward meaningful change. My practice is fully telehealth‑based, serving clients in both Texas and Oregon.
I come from humble beginnings, and much of my early life was shaped by being the person others naturally turned to when they were struggling. Over time, I realized that my ability to listen deeply, offer steady support, and hold space for people in their hardest moments wasn’t just part of my personality — it was pointing me toward my calling.
When everything feels like it’s piling up, having a space that feels steady and supportive can be a relief. I show up with warmth, calm energy, and genuine curiosity. Clients often describe me as someone who listens closely, helps them feel understood, and brings clarity without judgment. I’m practical and down-to-earth, but gentle in how I guide the work. I value honesty, balance, and helping people reconnect with who they are beneath the stress. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and able to move at a pace that feels right for you.

Clients consistently praise my empathy, perceptiveness, practical guidance, and measurable improvements they experience, with one noting: "Tim is empathetic and encouraging. I'm on session 7 seeing improvements. 10/10." I believe therapy should feel like a cozy tea-time chat in your living room, creating a safe space where intimacy and authentic connection flourish naturally. I'm not your typical practicioner.
I bring a holistic, modern approach rooted in CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, supporting individuals, couples, and families through dating, marriage, or healing from the past. I tailor my approach to your unique story, helping you find peace, reconnect, and build lasting relationships, whether you're feeling distant, unheard, or weighed down by the past.
Please respect my 15-minute wait policy. Sessions don't always start exactly on time due to back-to-back appointments. Just as clients can be a few minutes late without issue, practitioners deserve that same grace. Lastly, I don't provide documentation for work accommodations, emotional support animals, or leave requests, this includes FMLA, unemployment, etc; so if that's your primary need, I'm not the right fit for you.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20+ years of experience helping adults and couples manage anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship concerns.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next steps, therapy can help you gain clarity and move forward. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, focused on helping you reconnect with your strengths and build effective coping strategies.
Taking the first step can feel hard—but you don’t have to do it alone.
I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.

I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy.
I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.
You thought you'd feel different by now. The anxiety won't quiet. The birth keeps replaying. Something about motherhood feels harder than anyone warned you. This practice exists for exactly that: pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, and the identity shift of becoming a mother.
I have 14 years of clinical experience and completed postdoctoral training at Columbia, all centered on perinatal mental health. My clients come to me because they want focused expertise from someone who has devoted her career to supporting the transition into motherhood, or matrescence.

My approach is collaborative and empowering. I view you as the expert on your own life, and therapy is a space to reconnect with your strengths and values. Whether you are healing from past trauma, working to strengthen your relationship, or striving to find balance amid stress and uncertainty, I will meet you where you are with empathy and respect.
Clients who work with me often describe feeling more empowered, confident, and grounded with an improved ability to manage emotions, communicate effectively, and live with greater intention. My goal is to help you move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life where you can thrive rather than cope.
