New to Grow
My name is Marcus McCray, I am a retired military veteran with three years of experiencein trauma informed and group therapy in the local community. My approach focusses on the natural talents and abilities that all of us have. I believe people often fall victim to negative thoughts and beliefs about themselves. Through therapy we will learn how to undo those negative thought patterns.
Clients can expect to be challenged and motivated to take action to achieve their goals. The goals will be realistic and attainable through effort and dedication.
I think what makes me unique is that I provide honest feedback that all my clients find insightful and easy to digest. Using every day language, enjoyable interventions, and someone's natural talents often lead to improvements in their daily lives
My strength is the ability to form connections with my clients and helping them to believe in themselves. I focus on the whole person concept by prioritizing mental, emotional, and spiritual health. If you choose to work with me, I believe that we can create a treatment plan that can help you deal with daily life struggles. My time in the military has taught me discipline, integrity, and a desire for a bette life. I have helped young professionals, retirees, and adolescents/teens understand and process their emotions. Many of my previous client report feeling more confident in their choices and decision making when they complete counseling
