When life feels overwhelming, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with over a decade of experience helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families manage anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I also specialize in women’s mental health, including prenatal and postpartum support, and I have experience supporting veterans, military service members, and their families as they cope with stress, trauma, and the emotional impact of military life. Many of my clients come to me feeling: Constantly anxious or on edge. Emotionally exhausted or burned out. Struggling with pregnancy or postpartum changes. Stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns. Overwhelmed by life changes, grief, or stress. Or, in the case of children, having big emotions, worry, behavior changes, or difficulty expressing what they’re feeling. I provide a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being honest about what you’re going through. Together, we work to understand what’s driving your distress and build practical tools to help you feel more in control, grounded, and emotionally balanced. I use evidence-based approaches to help reduce anxiety, improve mood, strengthen relationships, and help both adults and children better understand and cope with their emotions in healthy, supportive ways. You deserve support that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. When you’re ready, I’m here to walk alongside you toward clarity, stability, and healing.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can openly share your concerns and goals. We will start by discussing your current challenges and what you hope to achieve through Therapy. I will gather some background information to better understand your situation, and together we will explore your strengths and areas you would like to work on. The initial session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the therapeutic process. My aim is to make you feel comfortable and supported as we begin your journey towards healing and growth.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are my empathy, ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, and my deep understanding of the emotional challenges people face. I take a client-centered, compassionate approach that helps individuals feel at ease and supported as they open up and do the work of healing. I know how difficult it can be to take the first step into therapy, and I strive to make the process feel safe and welcoming. I use evidence-based methods to tailor treatment to each client’s needs, focusing on practical tools that reduce distress, improve emotional regulation, and support meaningful, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best suited to support individuals, children, teens, couples, and families who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in difficult patterns. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, grief, or challenges related to pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting. I also work well with those who may feel unsure about starting therapy but are open to gaining insight, learning coping skills, and making meaningful changes. Whether you’re seeking relief from distress, stronger relationships, or a greater sense of balance and emotional stability, I provide a supportive space to help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a clinical social worker using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients modify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve their mental health. I assess their needs, set goals, and apply CBT techniques while considering their social context. My approach includes empowering clients, leveraging their strengths, and providing psychoeducation. I monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed to ensure effective and personalized care.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
As a clinical social worker using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I focus on helping clients manage intense emotions and improve interpersonal relationships. DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I work with clients to build skills for handling crises, balancing acceptance with change, and enhancing their quality of life. My practice involves individual therapy, skills training groups, and ongoing support to ensure comprehensive, personalized care.
Grief Therapy
As a clinical social worker using Grief Therapy, I support clients through the process of coping with and healing from loss. I help individuals understand and navigate their unique grief experiences, providing strategies to manage their emotions and adjust to life changes. My approach includes creating a safe space for expressing feelings, exploring the impact of the loss, and developing coping skills to promote healing and resilience. Through individual or group sessions, I offer empathetic support and practical tools to aid in the grieving process and foster emotional recovery.
Trauma Informed Care
In my work, I understand that difficult life experiences such as past trauma, ongoing stress, or major life changes can continue to affect how you feel, think, and relate to others. My trauma-informed approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and in control of your therapy journey. We move at a pace that feels right for you, focusing first on building emotional safety, trust, and coping skills. Together, we explore how your experiences may be impacting the present while emphasizing your strengths, resilience, and growth. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and equipped with practical tools to manage stress and emotional overwhelm.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy is a goal-oriented approach that focuses on what’s working, your strengths, and the changes you want to see in your life. Rather than spending extensive time on past problems, we focus on identifying practical solutions and small, meaningful steps that can create positive change. In our work together, we clarify your goals, explore past successes, and build on skills you already have. Therapy is collaborative and forward-focused, helping you develop clear, realistic strategies to address current challenges. This approach is especially helpful for managing stress, navigating life transitions, improving confidence, and creating momentum when you feel stuck. My goal is to help you feel hopeful, empowered, and supported as you move forward.

Holly made a really positive first impression. She was warm, attentive, and made it easy for both of us to open up during our intake session. It already feels like a safe space for my fiancé and me to work on things together and move toward our goals as a couple.
