It’s Okay Not to Be Okay. Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult seasons, overcome adversity, and discover their strengths along the way. I have experience supporting children, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, co-occurring disorders, and men’s issues. My approach is compassionate, person-centered, and strength-based, incorporating evidence-based methods such as CBT and DBT. I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you as you work toward healing and personal growth. Your story matters, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to counseling, and identify the concerns and goals that are most important to you. We’ll talk about your experiences, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll begin developing a plan that feels comfortable and appropriate for your needs. I understand that sharing personal experiences can feel difficult, so I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can feel safe being yourself. Your privacy and confidentiality are important to me. What you share in therapy is kept confidential within the limits of applicable laws and professional ethical requirements. I will also review confidentiality, privacy practices, and any legal exceptions with you during our first session so you understand your rights and what to expect. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin. Come as you are. This is your space, your story, and your journey—and we’ll take it one step at a time.
My greatest strength is being genuine. I got into the helping others field by accepting help in my past. I have lived experience in many areas of life and understand more than others sometimes. I have been successful in treatment many times but the ultimate result changer is you.
I help children, teens, adults, and the elderly navigate their concerns in life. I work to create a mindset of change that turns to client growth. I believe my therapy experience and life experiences help blend in achievable goals and create a better life. Lastly, reducing the stigma of therapy and fostering a caring environment to help clients become the better version of themselves.
