I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in the state of Indiana and Texas. I have over 8 years of experience working with various populations as a mental health therapist, psychological health coordinator and senior social worker. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relational issues, parenting concerns, career challenges, childhood/adult trauma, sexually harmful behaviors, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, life coaching and more. My therapy style is welcoming, engaging and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion, and I don't believe in put-downs as we have all experienced barriers and roadblocks at some point in our life.
In our first session, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable space where clients feel heard and understood. We begin with an open conversation about what brings them to therapy and any specific goals or concerns they have. I take time to explain my approach, answer any questions, and discuss what they can expect from our work together. Together, we explore their history, strengths, and any immediate challenges, giving me a clear sense of their needs. I invite clients to share their hopes for therapy and any personal values or priorities they want to incorporate into our work. By the end, we’ll have set a foundation for a collaborative relationship, with a shared understanding of their goals and the next steps.
My biggest strengths focus on life coaching, family-centered treatment, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I love a person-centered approach. I love helping people reach their full potential by asking the hard questions we are afraid to ask ourselves. I will challenge you to grow and help you reprogram your negative thought processing.

I’ve been practicing CBT for 8 years along side a new focus on psychosis. I assist with connecting the understanding that your feelings, thoughts and actions are all connected. My goal is to help you help yourself be your best version through self awareness.
I start by helping my clients identify specific behaviors or emotions they want to work on, so we’re clear on what they want to change. Then, we set personalized goals that align with their values and unique circumstances. I teach them DBT’s four main skills, Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness and I tailor each one to fit their needs. For instance, if they enjoy deep breathing or visualization, I incorporate those into our mindfulness exercises. I also encourage them to practice these skills between sessions to build confidence and resilience. We celebrate even the small wins to keep them motivated and feeling good about their progress.
I begin by exploring what changes my clients truly want to make, using Motivational Interviewing to help them clarify their goals and intentions. Together, we discuss their reasons for change and any ambivalence they might feel, helping them see both sides without judgment. I ask open-ended questions that encourage them to reflect deeply, and I listen carefully to understand their unique motivations. I affirm their strengths and past successes, building confidence in their ability to change. When they’re ready, I support them in setting personalized goals that align with their values. Throughout, I emphasize their autonomy, helping them feel empowered and committed to making lasting changes.
I start by helping my clients identify what’s already working well in their lives, using a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach to build on those strengths. Together, we define clear, achievable goals, focusing on what they want to accomplish rather than dwelling on problems. I ask questions like, “What would things look like if they were better?” to help them envision their desired future. We look for “exceptions” times when the problem wasn’t as intense to identify practical strategies they can use more often. I encourage them to notice small signs of progress, reinforcing their strengths and resilience. This approach keeps sessions positive and forward-focused, helping clients feel motivated and capable of reaching their goals.
