As a first-generation college graduate, I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and difficult experiences. I deeply value building a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported from the very beginning. Within this space, we will work collaboratively toward your goals, fostering self-awareness, growth, and overall healing. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, with a focus on helping you feel empowered throughout your journey.
In your first session, we will begin with a brief introduction and an intake assessment to better understand your needs and goals. We will also discuss the importance of finding the right therapeutic fit, as this is a key factor in supporting your long-term growth and well-being. Over the first few sessions, we will collaboratively determine if my approach aligns with your needs. If at any point it feels like we are not the right fit, I am happy to assist you in finding another therapist who may be better suited to support your journey. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and empowered in your care from the very beginning.
As a therapist, I consider my greatest strength to be my ability to meet clients where they are. I understand that each individual’s needs and experiences are unique, and I tailor my approach to honor that. Another strength I bring is the ability to provide thoughtful challenges in a way that is both strengths-based and compassionate, supporting growth while fostering a safe and empowering therapeutic environment.
I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating the effects of generational trauma and stress, as well as those experiencing life transitions or challenges with work–life balance. I work best with individuals who are motivated for change and open to self-exploration. I value a collaborative process and support clients who are ready to engage in meaningful work toward growth and healing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice is a collaborative process in which we work together to explore your internal experiences in a structured way. Through this approach, we identify and examine unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, and develop practical strategies to reshape them in ways that support your well-being and goals.
Relational
Relational therapy in my practice emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a central component of the healing process. I believe that the connection we build together is foundational to meaningful change. We will take time to get to know one another, fostering a safe, authentic, and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences and relationships with others.
Strength-Based
Strengths-based therapy in my practice is grounded in the understanding that each person is shaped by their unique life experiences and environment. With this perspective, I focus on identifying and building upon your existing strengths, resilience, and resources, rather than centering solely on challenges. Together, we work to leverage these strengths to support growth, healing, and meaningful change.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a trauma-informed lens, acknowledging the impact that past experiences can have on your present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you as we work toward healing and resilience.
